I have struggled with my weight since I was very young. I'm 16 years old 5'7, and about 200 lbs. I hate being fat and I'm ready to change my eating and exercise habits but I don't know what to do. I believe that my metabolism and weight problems stem from hereditary traits because my mother has struggled w/ it in the past but has managed to get into shape. I'm not an over eater except in rare occasions, maybe once or twice a week. Generally my family eats pretty healthy food and probably the worst food I eat is school lunches. I'm not very active but I don't sit around all day and do absolutely nothing. What are ways I can effectively and quickly lose some weight? Id like to at least get into the 140-150 lb range within a year or so. Tips and tricks?
