TBH, I'd work the same muscles (with the same exercise) to fatigue, not to failure, twice or three times a week. I do squats two or three times a week. Why not add in a more balanced and varied routine? I mean, it might be okay. To some extent, these things are subjective. A lot of people would probably be okay with that routine. Seems a bit 'firey' though. Ie, I'm going to do this gimmicky thing for a month, then never do it again. Sustainable healthier lifestyle choices probably better. But whatever, I'm boring :P
Also, as someone else mentioned, your muscles (and nervous system) need time to recover. I don't agree that you need weights though, I prefer calisthenics as they are more functional movements, and are arguably healthier on the joints, and better for nervous system development (where the real strength comes from). There's progressions to make squats harder (ie moving up to one legged squats).
I wouldn't recommend it:
First: Your body needs to rest at least 2 days after a working out a muscle;
Second: Your body will get used to it and won't make any gains, do different exercises;
Third: Have you ever tried doing squats with weights?
But you do want you want too :)
Eh might be good for exercise but if you want results i. e. a bigger, more toned butt then you need to do more than a 30 day squat challenge. You'll need to go to the gym and squat heavy along as doing other glute-focused exercises.
I don't see any harm in doing it though and challenging yourself :)
The second one seems more doable.
And I'm assuming you don't have to do all the squats in one sitting. If you have to do 50 squats, for example, you can do 5 sets of 10 split up throughout the day.
Why does the 30 day "easy squat challenge" start at 30 squats and the 30 day regular "squat challenge" starts at 10? Lol don't you think something doesn't add up there :D

No. I see no purpose in doing that many bodyweight squats. If you want to do cardio, go for a run, cycle or swim. If you want to do resistance training then lift weights. Doing endless light body weight movements isn't very useful for anything in my opinion.
Yes, it doesn't hurt to try. It's good exercise too.
I do squats everyday!!! Love it 💋
Useless. Better to work with real weigths
