Are dogs carnivores or omnivores?

I see conflicting information... they're descended from wolves, but aren't wolves basically carnivores? I feel like it leans towards dogs being more omnivorous, but cats are carnivorous.

They're still classified as carnivores because as you mentioned they're just domesticated wolves (which have been intensively bred for selected characteristics). As fed by humans today, you could say dogs are omnivores. But if a domestic dog reverted to a feral state it would go back to its true nature and be a carnivore.
