Why did my skin has become pale?

When I was in Turkey, I was tan. However, for six months, I have been in UK. What are the reasons that that I have become pale?

You can't keep the tan you got. It's temporary, the skin color you get.

It's actually quite pleasant here at the moment, girl. About 15oC in late Oct, and lots of sun.
