So in one set it is 43. The first set.
And my record of holding the plank position is 8 minutes. Holding the plank position regulary enabled me to do more push ups.
My stupid phone does change the words I write.

Trending & News I use to be able to do 150 at one time many years ago I honestly don't count now a days I just do them until I am physically not able to. and I do call kinds, some are harder then others so I don't do as many in certain types as I do others.
Planks I honestly have no idea, I hold a fighting horse stance ( martial arts stance ) instead which is much harder to do and far more painful and I can do that for about 5 minutes.
I do that instead because I have a better ab workout that works better for me, planks never really did anything for me.
I do sets of 20s, 10 on one arm, 10 on the other - 5 reps. On both arms, back in service I could easily pump 350 before breakfast, though I'm not in that kind of shape, anymore.
For the record, pumping 43 push-ups is good, but not very useful. You should find the number of pushups you can do in a rep to consistently do the same for # reps.
I recomment practicing pushups on one arm, significantly helps with balance and is way more taxing.
Traditional pushups about 70.
Spiderman or legs elevated pushups around 30.
I haven't timed myself to max out. I routinely do 3 to 4 minutes.
I'm sure it did. It gets so boring though and honestly I'm fine with the number of pushups I can do.
Pretty sure sets are suppose to be equal like 10 each time
Actually no there is no set amount of reps for sets, there are several preset, sets though.
Basic sets
3 sets of 10-12 reps
REsisitance sets
3 sets of 8 reps
Strength sets
3 sets of 6 reps.
Power lifter sets
3 sets of 2-3 sets.
The high the rep count the less weight you use and it's geared more towards endurance building. The lower rep count you use the heavier the weight you use and the lower you go it's geared more and more towards burst strength ( power lifting ) and regular strength training ( body building )
But generally you can use however many reps you want to in a set you just have to understand the basic rule, higher rep count, lower weight = endurance training. Lower rep count, higher weight = strength training. Moderate rep count, moderate weight level = mix of the two.

@Phoenix98
I prefered to force myself until failure in every set.

I don't do push-ups like I used to, but when I do its about 75 - 80.
one set i can do 48. I just can't hit that 50.
Nice.
I will
I like lifting the iron, not into push-ups.
