Trending & News Rule of thumb:
1 gram of:
- Protein : 4 Calories
- Carbs: 4 Calories
- Fat: 9 Calories
If you do the math, 20g x 9 = 180 calories. Nevertheless, you NEED the fat, especially from fish. It's extremely beneficial for burning body fat and building muscle. Omega 3 oils are important as well.
Oops, read that wrong, I thought you meant the fat from actual salmon, not the sauce. The sauce may contain some undesired fats.
I know, plus I love salmon. It's just that I don't think salmon sauce which comes from a container will give me any of those good fats.
As long as there is no trans-fat in the product, a moderate amount is acceptable.
However if it has ANY amounts of trans-fat (even if it's 0,01), ditch it.
It doesn't state it unfortunately, I think I'm going to ditch it anyways I doubt there's any nutritional value in it. Thanks anyways
Fat contains 9 calories per gram, so that's 180 calories for 20 grams of fat.
