so i want to tone up pretty much everywhere, but i want to tone up my abs especially. Im already quite strong, so i have the muscles, but i have to much fat to really show them off.
It looks like i lift i have been told, and i do belive that too. Anyway, like mentioned i want to tone up, and my plan is to eat much healtier (more veggies, dont eat sugar or drink alcohol, more protein), do abs exercises about 5 times a week in addition to either do low intensity cardio 5 times a week or high intese cardio 3 times a week (maybe chang it up every two weeks).
Im not going for that super lean, 17% body fat look, but i would like to reduce it some fat %(town to 20). So if i do this for about 4 months do you think i can end up looking something like this:
According to this cart i have about 25%-35% body fat, yeah i know its not really that accurate, but from the way i see myself thats what i look like:
Is this the best way to go from 30% body fat to 20% body fat?
the best way is a gradual decline, you can make 20% your goal nothing wrong with that. but cut your body fat gradually at a decent rate, otherwise your body won't keep it off efficiently and you'll gain it all back with bad eating habits.
Cut your carbs, focus on dense grainy carbs (whole wheat vs. white pasta/pizza), limit all sugars and sweetners (including soda AND diet soda), try to get your calories from protein-rich foods, lots of sleep and exercise.
