Are there anyone on GaG that is diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder?

I myself am diagnosed with it and I am suffering a lot from it in my daily life. I have decided that I want to try to treat it myself, after about 5 years with no luck from friends or therapists. I was wondering if anyone here is suffering from it, or has been treated from it, and would like to share some stories about what helped or just tell a story about how it was for you.

I don't have it but I am a mental health patient and disabled for mental health reasons. Counseling does work but it's directly proportional to the honesty you put in. It requires being 100% honest even when it kills you to get anything out of it

But if you really want to treat yourself then you need to understand that BPD is just an expression of deeperlying issues you need to face in order to have it get better.

I am very honest! That's why I've put so much effort into trying to treat myself. I know everything about myself, why I do it and where it comes from. I am currently just struggeling with getting over memories, if you know what I mean. It's the memories of what I have done and what people have seen of me that haunts me.
