Have drugs caused hair loss?

I've noticed my hair shedding more than usual and my hair seems weirdly thinner. Im only 21 so this is a little freaky for me. I'm not sure if it has to do with the drugs im on or just genetics. My mom and dad have had hair loss. I'm on lamictal, remeron, and adderall to manage my bipolar disorder. I hear that you'd have to be on a drug for a few months for hair loss to start so it may not be the adderall. I'm more so upset bc this combination has given me great results. I was on gabapentin and I stopped bc I thought that was what was making my hair fall out faster than usual but it's started back up. Any advice? I also smoke weed very frequently I read somewhere that it can do that too lol

This is definitely a question for your doctor. Lots of medications can cause hair loss so it's hard for us to say oh it's that.

Honestly some of my medication makes me lose hair too but I feel like my personal wellness is more important than my hair being as thick as usual.

Start drinking more water and eating fruits and vegetables. Sounds like your hair is dry.

I've improved my diet exponentially within the last 6 months which is when this whole thing started. When my hair wasn't coming out as much my diet was wayyyyyy more poor
