Does muscle compensate for hair loss?

Anonymous
I noticed in the past two years that I'm losing my hair, especially on the crown of my head. This has obviously made me somewhat insecure about my future dating prospects. Younger girls especially prefer guys with good heads of hair. One of my female friends told me to just shave my hair off and focus on perfecting my body as a way to make up for not having hair. Her theory is that a guy who is really muscular and bald with some tats will get more girls than a guy who is out of shape or has an average body but has a perfect head of hair. She actually told me not to worry about it because bald, muscular guys seem really masculine, and end up attracting a lot of girls. Is this generally true?
