I think you look fine and fit! I haven't had much of a problem with a little extra belly fat because I'm literally just skin and bones (unless I pig out on ALL the junk food I can find, which happens off-season), but to keep my stomach toned I do abdomenal exercises (cruches that work your abs and obliques, V-ups, etc.). It might take a while, but you'll get there!

Ugh so I have the same problem. I think many women naturally have thin layer of fat on their bellies. I've gained weight recently but when I do work out and eat healthy I have that remaining. That's why women with abs are so freaking impressive.

You just gotta do intense ab workouts. If you are worried about your appearance, honestly, your belly looks great.

Many women have very little muscle and their abs and ab separations are very shallow, so they would have to go to a lower bf% than someone with more muscle mass, you should try weight training and gain a bit of muscle (make sure to work abs) and then go for a lean cut, that's how I got abs anyway.

Girls actually tend to have a pouch because there's organs there, it just gets photoshopped out of professional pictures, there is absaloutley nothing wrong with it, but green tea burns belly fat, and cut carb portions might help

That's where your organs are. It's totally normal to have a little extra there. Obviously it's less noticeable on people with rock hard abs but I wouldn't worry so much. Your belly looks lovely and flat to me.

@Josht13 it's natural to have a little, you need it to protect your organs. It's bullshit from people like you who make young girls sick with weightless over a tiny little bit of belly.

what your organs aren't outside your abdominal muscles, otherwise I wouldn't be able to see them, that is fat on the outside. Losing fat is not making young girls sick it's healthy to stay lean.

@Josht13 fat is there for a reason. It's healthy to have some fat. Being a bag of bones is not healthy. It's healthier to have some fat than none. Extreme weight loss is unhealthy, do your research. There's a reason your periods stop and your teeth fall out when you're too thin.

I never said she get too thin, just get lean, I'm at about 12% boyfriend now (aiming for 10%) and although I'm skinny (135lbs) I'm not a bag of bones or unhealthy.

@Josht13 so everyone should be as skinny as you? I don't think so. Body fat is healthy, it's there for a reason. She isn't even overweight so it's not an issue.

Hell no I'm way too skinny in my opinion, I'm going to build muscle after I finish this final push to get a lower bf%, but being lean is healthy, you have better strength, endurance and are usually fitter. She isn't overweight but that doesn't mean you can't be better.

@Josht13 'better' but only by your standards. Being lean is not necessarily healthy. Look at Hafthor Bjornsson, Brian Shaw, Zydrunas Savikas. They're all athletes who are fit and healthy but they're not lean.

you should focus on eating nutrient dense foods that are low calorie they keep you filled so that you can feel full but have actually eaten little calories through the day e. g. kale.

@Josht13 powerlifters and strong men aren't lean to begin with. They're big blokes. They have fat and muscle. They're not lean at all, so what you've said is total crap. My brother is a power lifter so I know, he's 6ft 5 and 18 stone. Not lean. Beefy.

that one study is a very poor example, many diseases cause you to lose weight before death, it didn't specify specific diseases risk increases and overweight people don't have a better quality of life throughout anyway., I have my own counter articles

It looks more like weak abs since your fat level seems OK. Start training your core and your belly will flatten automatically.

It's not bad at all, better than mine! The saying goes though, "abs are made in the kitchen", so try to cut out all sugary stuff, and eat plenty of healthy fats such as avocado etc... Plus, find out what works for you! What works for others may not work for you!

You can't spot reduce fat, it's impossible unless Liposuction is used, in order to lose that last bit of belly fat, you need to lose weight in general, so get into a caloric deficit and maintain a relatively high protein intake so you don't lose muscle.

Dieting gets more strict the further along you get as you need less calories. You need to cut down the calories to where you are losing 2 lb per week, weigh yourself at the same time of day every other day. Do weight training to maintain muscle mass and lower bf% rather than just weight and also abs are made in the kitchen you gotta be eating really good.

i dont think you can do much for a specific area.

BUT if you do exercises which target your core/abdominals and eat fewer carbohydrates (especially from sugar) you could reduce your body fat and look more toned

tone and get more definition are very vague. You lose weight, you maintain or you gain. Also there is clearly a decent amount left to be lost she isn't ripped or anything lol.

@Josht13 I'm confused how that is vague the only way to tone your body is to build muscle there's not one step to it it's an over all body experience so less cardio more weight training everyone knows that
