Getting rid of an hour glass figure?

I have an hourglass figure and would like to be thin for once in my life,I hate having an hourglass figure.exercise or diet tips?

I did not ask to be told how much people like the shape and I did not ask for anyone to tell me to accept my shape

I agree with Kitten44, then again as someone else pointed out the grass is always greener. Even if you lost some weight, you'd still have the same shape. With that being said, you can try walking. Say, go out after dinner for a quick walk. Or go hiking on the weekends. Watch what you're eating. Don't starve yourself, or deny yourself, just do everything in moderation. And keep in mind that results aren't going to happen over night. But you will get there.

Uh, the grass is always greener on the other side. I'm thin and I wish I had some curves. I think most guys like curves, though, but honestly, it doesn't matter. What you've got is what you've got and you've got to learn to love it the way it is. If your natural body type is more of an hourglass shape, you're not going to be able to make yourself thin while still being healthy.

Having an hourglass figure sucks:/If this were the 50's it would be OK but nowadays hourglass figure is just associated with being fat:///

-Sprinting.Sprinters tend to have thin body's in general,thin legs yet the are toned.

-Swimming is great cardio and great for your arms ad chest.

-Pilates will tone your body and make you look lean and tall.

-Less "white foods" such as white bread,pasta and carbs.

you can be a thin/skinny hourglass but you can't change your body shape. people like halle berry, jessica alba and cheryl cole (I think) are thin hourglasses. do a lot of cardio and tone up. you can't get rid of your base shape

no matter how thin you get you'll have an hourglass figure, you can't change your bone structure. and I don't see why you'd want to look like a boy and have no curves anyway.
