They are being exploited by a nation of bullies who cackle at their unhealthy lifestyles & look down upon them, the channels that host shows like this should be boycotted, but I don't feel bad for people like that in general as much. I feel more badly for their loved ones who become burdened with taking care of them. I absolutely despise these shows where the goal is 'lets look at these trashy white people sexualizing their children for beauty pagaents' or 'look at these midgets trying to live like normal people' or 'look at this crazy bitch with 96 children', that all disgusts me and I have nothing but unkind things to say about the people involved in the production of these shows.

I mean what blows my mind is that the person taking care of the obese person actually buys them what they want to eat. So you'll see them pulling out a bunch of junk food from the grocery bag.

I feel bad for the personal childhood trauma that they experienced, which usually is the cause of their over-eating. Most of the people on this show have been abused or neglected as children and turned to food as a coping mechanism. What I don't feel sorry for are the ones who are continuously offered help, and don't take any accountability to change their behaviour (especially when Dr. Naz tells them they are going to die soon if they don't).

It depends. I’ve met people who are obese due to clinical issues rather than self-control. IF and only IF that’s the reason they’re obese, then yes that’s very unfortunate.

If not, then no. It may be hard to lose weight, but you should ALWAYS prioritize your health over everything and anything. It doesn’t even have to do with attractiveness. It’s more related to your health and lifespan

I feel sorry that they’re in the state that they’re in, but it quickly diminishes when they ignore all advice, education, and work around their new plumbing to continue bad habits.
I saw one where even after her surgery she couldn’t move due to her size - so her husband set up a deep fryer next to her mattress on the floor so she could make snacks 😐

I find it repulsive. The woman (if you can even call her that) in this photo is everything that is wrong with our society. She produces nothing but waste. She is incapable of even supporting herself, much less contributing to the support of others. Hopefully, she'll die before she reproduces. And hopefully, those who continue to feed her will do the same. She should never have reached this point; those who enabled it should be driven out of society as the irrational, useless drones they are. They have turned a human being into a mockery.

I have wanted to become a plastic surgeon at times it would be very interesting to debulk these people. If I had the hands of a surgeon and the latest equipment I would like to remove all the fat under the skin leaving only the muscle tissue. Then I would like to open the body cavity or enter with some sort of catheter and remove the fat around the organs. I bet there is an instrument that can do that. Then the skin remove all that loose skin, cut and stitch. When I was done I think they could be attractive people. I've also heard that blood vessels from cadavers graft onto other people well. It would be pretty cool to replace all the clogged up arteries etc while I was at it.

Yes and no. Bad stuff happens to people. Whether they were injured or depressed or whatever, I understand these things can escalate before you realize how serious of an issue it is. I feel sorry for those who genuinely want to become healthy, I have sympathy for their struggle. I have no sympathy for those who get surgery and expect magic to happen.
