Do you feel empathy for poor people who struggle with obesity?

I was watching a music video with a bunch of poor chefs and they were all obese, I thought it was so sad they could not afford nutritious food to keep their BMI low.

No. Basic vegetables are very cheap. Meat/fish can be expensive but there's plenty of economical cuts out there.

The problem is these people are too reliant on processed foods. You could fill a trolley with fresh goods for the price they pay for a basket of ready meals and frozen pizza.

For real. I had one obese female colleague and when she was in the office, the waste baskets were full of fatty and sugary junk food packings. She did all this to herself.

Food banks often report these people refuse boxes of vegetables because they don't know what to do with them. Truth is it's not entirely their fault, we've allowed supermarkets and food companies to create a reliance on their products. Think about it, pizza is only dough, tomato sauce, and cheese but when was the last time you made one?

Everyone with half a brain can follow at least simple recipes. And chopping up, cooking a bunch of vegetables and throwing them together with rice, potatoes or pasta is done in 20-30 minutes. What's the damn problem?

Spend 5 minutes with these people and you'll soon see. I'd add the fact they can't follow simple instructions is also the reason they can't hold down a job

I'm mostly empathetic towards people who gain weight because they're on a certain type of medication, because I've been in that sort of a bind myself. Sometimes the cure is worse than the disease.

it is mostly because they are lazy. It is easier to get takeout than to make a meal. People have plenty of time to be on social media but are to busy to workout.

Yes I do, because even poor people can struggle with obesity, they can't afford healthy food, or maybe they have some hormonal issues.

Yes and no. They have to control there intake.
