Running is by far the best way to lose weight. I should know, I am a runner. Honestly, when I started to train, I simply ran and had no other range of exersice. The main focus should be your diet. Drink as much water as you can. And before you go for a run, eat a full carrot. Not the baby ones, the actual one. Eat lots of vegges. As many as you can eat. You will get use to eating them - Trust me.
Stretching is your hero. Please stretch. And do a couple push-ups or squats before you go for a run, to warm up your muscles. I find it easier to run when I do stretch. Other than that, once you get tired of doing the same routine, spice it up. Go to a gym. Do cardio on the stepper, and the trainer. Do biking. All of these are great and depending on how extreme you work-out, you will be sweating and burning a lot more. If you don't want to go to the gym then go for a bike ride around your block maybe. Or you can do long sprints instead of just a straight-forward 2.5 mile run. Lets say you run non-stop for the whole 2.5 mile. Next time, do a 1 minute sprint and then 1 minute walk. Do that for the entire 2.5 mile. It's not as easy as it sounds. You'll be sweating and burning by the end of it. It's a good workout and it's different.
Thats all I can really suggest. Sit-ups, pull-ups are also great for some tonning. Music is vital. It pumps you up. It's a good motivation. So, have fun with it and goodluck.

By the sounds of it you don't need 2 loose weight but all I would suggest is stop stressin over it as it makes it worse. you need 2 b happy with yourself that's when the weight will come off and make sure you eat healthy. I would also say go 2 a gym or sumthin at least once a week as just runnin alone may not make you loose weight you should be doin a range of different exercises but keep it up shoulds like ur doin well
darling, you sound like you take care of your body, you don't need to stress over it. being a guy, the way my body reacts will be different so I can't give you imput on what you need to do. but some little tips I can that will help.
- raw fruits and veggies. don't steam or cook. raw is the way to go. and no ranch dip either.
- water. drink lots of it and throw in a glass of milk here and there. stay away from the sport drinks, too many calories and too much sodium
- change up your work out, when you get to a point after doing the same thing over and over, your body gets used to it and your muscles won't be working as hard.
you say you run 2.5 miles, that's huge, but running can only do so much. you need to get into a gymwith proper equipment, and talk with a trainer, they can be a bit expensive, if you use one for a short amount of time, it'll be cheaper and you'll have a better idea of what you need to do in the gym and how to do it properly so you don't hurt your self. read up on certian things if your serious about getting into shape (running 2.5 m you gotta be in great shape already) good luck, if you having trouble finding some things don't be affraid to msg me and ask. I'll do my best to help out
If you are doing something and it's not working mix things up. I recommend joining a gym and doing some lifting as well. This will help tone you and also help you burn fat. Might be a good idea to go on a slight daily calorie deficit as well.
Stay fit!

muscel building exercise won't make you much more skinny, diet does matter alot, but remember that you shouldnt worry about what other people think, because anyone that won't like you because of your weight is shallow.
I would recommend doing some resistance training and burpees. I love burpees, you can mix them up, slow them down and they slim me down like crazy.
