While in the shower, use an exfoliating scrub to work off the dead skin. Using a loofah helps as well. Right after showering, slather on plenty of lotion. Do you think the spottiness comes from sun burns or sun damage perhaps? If that is a possibility, wear SPF 30 sunscreen when outside... there are plenty of moisturizers that come with sunscreen in them. If it is from acne, be sure not to pick at the blemishes, and use an acne-fighting body wash. It would probably be a good idea no matter what to see a dermatologist, as they will have a good idea of your problem and how to treat it.

You can always take showers and rub the dead skin off. This might sound disgusting but I get a knife and rub it on dry spots on my foot and it gets the skin right off. Looks much smoother and better, good luck!

They have special drugs, soap and lotions for bad skin. Soaps and lotions are medicated. If you can, go to a dermatologist or your regular doctor and ask them to help you.
I had horrible skin for a few years and my doctor prescribed Tetracycline. It had a few side effects like making me nauseous but it worked.

Is it just your skin being dry or is it acne? If it's acne I re-comment over the counter Acne Free it comes with soap toner and lotion and you can also buy the soap separate. This works just as good as proactive.. I know because I've been using it for years. You may also want to try Johnsons soft lotion or aloe lotion. This stuff works awesome and will not cause more breakouts. If this doesn't help you should visit a dermatologist. Good luck!
The same issue I think... I have backne like a mf. So I've decided to do light therapy and today was my first day. So far so good, but I have red dots still... give me a couple of weeks and I'll be able to say if it actually works.
Go see a dermatologist.
