Can girls lift guys?

I have seen in movies where a girl lifts and carries a guy. Is it possible in reality? I want to know if girls are actually able to lift guys. For example i weigh about 60kg, is there any girl who could lift me and if she can then for how long.

My wife can. She's a measly 54kg and very slim type but I'm 78kg. She can still lift me off her feet and give me piggyback rides for a good 50 meters or so. Not sure if she could manage bridal position though, and not sure how long she could do it (if she just lifting me off my feet, then she tires out pretty quickly within seconds).

Size might factor in as well as weight. I'm kind of heavy but rather compact, and a measly 171cm. She's 166cm. So we're not that different in size, and that tends to make things easier to lift and carry.

She's also reasonably strong though even though very slim -- not a weight lifter but into ballet and yoga and can do a healthy number of pull-ups.

Let's see. It might be hard to tell perfectly from this pic but we're not so different in size, and I'm just a little bit taller (though she is on her toes for the kiss):


My body is pretty heavy but kind of small. I carry most of my weight in my legs from skateboarding vert ramps and being a sprinter and long jumper. So I have a rather compact but heavy physique (almost 27 BMI) with slim upper body and kind of big thighs and calfs.

Forgive arm band -- I was covering up my tat since it's kind of looked down upon in Japan to have tats. But I don't have so much big muscle or fat in the upper body and just kind of big legs -- most of my weight comes from there. :-D And overall size is not so different between me and my wife -- she is a little bit smaller.

Those last couple of pics are kind of old (almost 9 years or so) and I've gotten heavier since -- maybe about 8kg or so. But still pretty lean (maybe even leaner than I was before), but I didn't really get into weight lifting and calisthenics so much until I reached 30. But she can still piggyback and lift me off my feet in spite of the weight I've gained -- she likes to do it for fun.

In my experience just goofing around with girls, and not just my wife, they tend to be respectable in strength and stronger than they might appear if they need to move some heavy object from point A to B. If they can start engaging the broader muscles in their body, they're not going to compare to a man, on average, but not that much worse (not as bad as you might expect, so to speak).

Meanwhile they can seem like such weaklings when it comes to things like grip strength, since apparently the world's most elite female athletes only rival the grip strength of an average guy, so they might seem so frail when they're struggling to open a pickle jar. But those same frail-looking skinny girls can still manage to move something heavy, whether person or heavy box or bed frame, from point A to B.

I've often been surprised by how well some skinny-looking girl like that can, say, carry a guy piggyback.

Might also make sense in terms of motherhood. You can see mothers piggybacking a kid for a very long distance without tiring out. The kid might only be 35kg but they can carry them for a very long distance without tiring out. So they might be built somewhat reasonably for that sort of thing. When it comes to engaging muscles like hams, quads, glutes, lats, many start to do all right. If it's just like forearms or biceps though, then maybe miserable, but not so bad for more compound motions and ones that engage the broader muscles.

It's a physics thing. Simply redistribute the weight of the other person to a comfortable position that you can actually maintain. Most of the time a woman lifts something a bit bigger than them (a person), they lean the weight into their body as they lean backwards. It allows for their body to act as a "stretcher" to hold the weight.

60kg? What your skinny as hell i’m 90kg. And possibly yh if the guy is semi conscious and on his legs with her under his arm. Or dragging the guy but full on pick up possible but very unlikely without training. At the same time girls aren’t as weak as you think they’re stronger than what you expect but more than a guy.
