I have problem with canker sores (Google translation from German "Aphte" ). It got better for me when I started using the same toothpaste over and over again. Most toothpastes have ingredients that might increase the risk of canker sores.
For me forbidden in toothpaste is:
Sodium lauryl sulfate
Triclosan
Sodium lauryl (some word starting with t) sulfate
But your gum health looks worrying, see more dentists if you have to.
I just bought sensitive toothpaste. those ingredients that you list doesn't have in it. hope it'll works for me.
by the way what are the brand of toothpaste that you use?
I tried sensodyne once. it really works. you're right it's Hella expensive. but I could not afford it..😠so yeah. I used local toothpaste which is affordable and it's not sensitive toothpaste. now I'm trying sensitive toothpaste but cheap one. :(
yea..
Are you flossing regularly?
I never floss
With all due respect, I know for a fact that you are neglecting your gums. Your gums are just as important as you teeth. The are the foundation that holds your teeth in place. You would drive a car with flat tires? Once your gums start to weaking then your teeth will start falling out. I am double your age and I have never had a cavity or gum disease. Dentures are very expensive in the US, a full pair cost you between $2000 to $4000 and are not usually covered my insurance. Then there is the embarrassment of having to glue them in and remove them every night for proper sanitizing. It's really sad that you are well on your way to needing dentures. You can turn it around by flossing your teeth.
what's the purpose of flossing? isn't using it only when something stuck in between your teeth?
Oh, Noooo! Whether you are a vegetarian or carnivore whatever you eat will get between your teeth. Then it will start to rot and bacteria sets in. It's like putting food down a garbage disposal and never running it those allowing the food to decompose. It smells awful. I can tell when talking to someone who doesn't floss because it has its own distinct smell. Perhaps you live in a country that doesn't put an emphasis on dental hygiene and flossing.
well I use brush. I always brush my teeth
