Depends on how long it is. If it just currently happend and is just annoying and not intense pain, you can gargle with warm salt water or an antibacterial mouth wash with alcohol which could linder a bacterial infection. But if you are in doubt or it really hurts a lot, always ask your doctor. I don`t know why you would visit a dentist in that case like someone else wrote, because while it is the mouth and a dentist surely knows about it, you can just visit your general physician when you have gum pain.

Ps: Do you mean gum like in your palate hurts or gingiva? If later then yes, obviously visit your dentist.

It’s the 1st one it’s just happened like this morning and yup it’s just annoying not intense pain and thanks imma do the gargle with the warm salt, and in how much time do u think it will go away?

Mouthwash with 0,1-0,2% chlorhexidine will help temporarily. Eludril Classic is good and relatively cheap
