What are some good natural tooth pain relief remedies?

I know a lot of you will say to go to the dentist which i already have an appointment set up in 2 weeks on the 22nd but until then what are some good natural tooth pain relief remedies? I don't think it's infected yet because the pain comes and goes and is worse after eating and flossing provides some temporary relief.

What you are describing is a tooth dying. Luckily you have a meeting soon. Most dentists would consider your case an emergency and offer you a slot today. Depending on where you live that might cost extra of course.

Chewing might help. Escalating pain often makes it temporarily easier on you. Your normal painkillers for a headache and alive often deal with inflammations too and can help a bit. End of the day though, you need a dentist if you want to save the tooth. The sooner you tackle dental issues the cheaper it tends to be.

Does that mean it could be infected? Because i can make appointment after work but it's inconvenient and i hate rush hour traffic and next Thursday the office is closed. Thursdays are usually my only day off of the week. But i am worried it can be infected cause sepsis or something more serious.

Not my profession so I can't really say. Again though, if it doesn't inflate your costs get it looked at today if possible. It might very well be fine in two weeks or even two years.

But it can also be you losing a tooth. The pain after all is a byproduct, not the actual problem. Imagine your finger giving you the same extent of pain repeatedly. That would be a very messed up finger.

Yes extraction is a time honors old folksy remedy for tooth pain. And it almost always works permanently

You might have the onset of an infection. If so, it could go from manageable to excruciating in one night. I’d keep some ibuprofen on hand.

Clove oil is a well known cure. It's sold in tiny bottles for toothache. You can also get toothwax to plug any holes until you get treated.

I'm not talking about mouthwash, but simply vodka or any other high-percentage alcoholic beverages. The alcohol works as a pain reliever.
