Any naturels remedies for toothache?

Once, on board a Navy ship, I was told to keep icing it till they could fly me ashore to a dentist. No sleep till we got in range of shore for the trip to the dentist (can't keep icing while asleep).

It depends what is causing the ache.

If it is an abcess, you can keep rinsing it with cold water until you can get some antibiotics.

If it is a cavity with an exposed nerve, try biting on a chunk of plain bread. The idea is to seal the cavity and stop air getting to it.

Either way, you need to get it sorted ASAP. It won't get better on its orwn.

Warm/hot water with salt in it. Rinse your mouth with it a few times. Hold it in your mouth for like 40 or 60 seconds if you can then spit out. Never swallow it.
Repeat a few times throughout the day.

Pharmacies sell pain killers which can help you until your dental appointment. Some tooth paste brands have pain killers inside.

Rub some oil of cloves around the effected area, it will at least numb this for a few hours.

Sounds dumb but put a blob of toothpaste on the tooth that’s hurting. It was the only thing that worked for me when I had a toothache.
