Is it normal for my girlfriend to weigh more than me?

I'm kind of a smaller framed guy and my girlfriend is on the curvier side and I just found out she weighs more than me. I'm 5'11 and I weigh 156lbs and my girlfriend is 5'10'' and she weighs 168lbs. She has always been sporty and athletic so she's in good shape I just don't want her to feel self conscious because she's bigger than me because with most couples the guy is bigger and stronger. She can lift me a lot easier than I can lift her. Is it alright for her to weigh more?

Her weight shouldn't bother you. From what you're telling me, she's probably athletic looking with some dense muscle tone which could be the reason for her being heavier than you. It may not be normal, but nothing wrong with it. I'm 5'10 and my girlfriend is 6'2, i know people don't see that as normal, but we are happy together and thats what matters.

Why you ask other people's opinion on this? Like it's anyone else's business than yours and her. I see a lot of skinny guys dating bigger girls. I don't think it's that uncommon.
