Decent rest time in between and each fifth rep should be very hard to get up so find a weight that's suitable for you. Each workout try to add 5lbs to your bar
yes that will help slow and controlled I go by the rule of 4 seconds down two seconds up basically what both of these are doing is minimizing the bounce off your chest I'm glad to say I push more weight then that kid

Obviously it will help. Momentarily takes the strain off the muscles. It will help, but how much it will help will depend entirely on the person.
Personally, creatine, wrist supports and a spotter are enough for me.
Looks like it'll work, but it's less work for your muscles. It would depend on whether you'd rather brag about benching more weight or get more work out of your lifts, I'd imagine.
It could do if you've stopped increasing your 1RM.
