I eat sponges and smoke. My stomach burns after eating real food, is it from the sponges or cigarettes?

I buy a pack of 3 per week so the sponges are clean and safe from bacteria and I smoke about 6 cigarettes per day. Recently, like for about a month my stomach started hurting and burning after eating and I can only really eat one meal per day. Is it from the sponges or cigarettes?

So you suffer from Pica. Pica is a craving to eat objects that are not edible. You are working your way to a bowel obstruction. This means that those sponges can block digested food waste from moving through your intestinal tract. It can cause parts of your intestinal tract to die and become necrotic thus causing a slow and painful death. I think you need to have an abdominal CT with contrast to see if you already have a blockage. If you do you will likely need surgery and you could end up pooping in a bag for the rest of your life if it doesn't kill you first. Please get some help.

I don't use tik tok. Eating sponge was a mechanism - weird I know - I found to deal with a close family member murder. I've been going to a therapist but even that is a struggle since I don't feel the need to go see him in my highs and my lows are so low that I don't have energy to leave the house.

Why do you eat sponges specifically, like what makes you crave them? Also what kind of sponges are they? If its a spongy sponge I would recommend trying to eat sponge-like food instead like sponge cake or something. I dunno man, you gotta ditch one of those at least. 1 bad habit is enough.

Sponges are made of synthetic material, I don't know all the side effects that might show up when eating them but I'm sure there wil come nothing good of it.

If u dont eat anything else, you won't get your nutrients and will be able to starve to death, even if u do eat sponges.

It could be from the combination. That isn't healthy, you need to seek a doctor. I know you may be scared to tell them, but you physical pain is only a manifestation of an underlying condition. Please don't eat sponges and contact a doctor. You are a valuable person and God loves you. So much so he sent his son to die for you on the Cross.
