Why does my throat burn when drinking soda?

Is it just me or does anyone else's throat burn when they drink soda? If you have an idea what might be causing this please tell me,although I know there might not be any docs on here,etc.

It's probably the carbonation of the soda and a small reaction with whatever is in your throat and it is possible to be an acid reflux issue. Is it the normal tingly sensation that everyone gets that keeps you from chugging a glass or is it much worse?

Its' much worse..doesn't matter if I take my time of if I chugg it..it still burns!

it could be acid reflux but that gives an acidic nasty burning taste in your mouth w/o adding soda to the picture. soda can make it burn more. you can look on medical websites if you're really nervous about it.

it happens to me! so I have to add ice to my soda it waters it down so it makes it not burn for me

i can't drink soda with no ice
