I don't wear the mask anymore. I had Covid in December and it was nothing (Asymptomatic) . I got vaccinated afterwards in March with the Pfizer vaccine. Definitely not worried about Covid-19 anymore, despite the so-called variants that are being discovered. Also, how is a cloth woven mask going to block virus particles? It doesn't, literally a virus particle is small enough to flow right through the gaps in any average mask that people are wearing. It's just a feel good social engineering measure designed to give people a false sense of security.

+1 yI still wear masks.
Just because I'm vaccinated, doesn't mean I can't be a carrier of COVID and it doesn't protect me against any of the variations. Around other vaccinated people, not a problem to go without a mask, but both out of habit and caution I still wear a mask in settings around many people and unfamiliar people. A lot of the places in my area still ask people to wear a mask in hopes of preventing another outbreak, which is totally understandable. We are still learning and trying to progress. I got vaccinated for peace of mind, not just so I can go without a mask.14 Reply- +1 y

I don't think you can be a carrier (within your own respiratory system) if you are vaccinated. However, virus particles can still stick to your hands and to the bottoms of your shoes, I believe.
Doesn't matter if vaccinated or not. I got my 2nd shot early last month. My work has it thus I have to wear a mask. I go into a store saying "masks" I have to wear a mask.
It's mandated. It's a bit stupid not to wear a mask regardless if vaccinated or not because of the hassle of explaining to every 2nd person that raises a "no mask" stink I'm vaccinated.40 Reply
+1 yI've only had my first shot, still waiting on the second, and in my country everyone still has to wear a mask until we figure out how we are going to lift restrictions and keep track of who has been vaccinated. We hit Phase 1 of reopening recently though, which just goes by what percentage of the province is vaccinated

I utterly HATE masks , and they are utterly useless anyhow , so as soon as Im able I will be dumping the mask first day.
I only wear now when there is no other way to enter the establishment.10 ReplyWe still have to wear masks, even when vaccinated. I will still probably wear a mask sometimes even when we don't have to because now I know how bacterial transmission works and it's kinda disgusting that there's basically spit on everything within 6 feet of a person.

+1 yShot or not... Karens be around every corner ready to freak out about bullshit. We live in a effed up world where it was once a good thing to hold a door open for a lady, now it's probably better off for you to slam it in her face... otherwise patriarchy, and you'll be the worst.
10 ReplyNOPE as I myself always forgot my nask constantly and really didn't change my daily routine at all during all this and in most cases unless a person forced me to wear a mask or made it apparent that they'd cause a scene if I didn't put one on I wouldn't care to worry about it and went in and outta anywhere like normal
10 Reply969 opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic. I'm fully vaccinated and I'm spending time abroad seeing my nephew's that I hadn't seen in over a year. Life is back to normal and all the paranoiacs still shitting on about how masks are the end of freedom or the new normal, can suck my vaccinated length.

+1 yAs for me although I’m vaccinated I still mask up especially when I’m around large crowds or I go shopping. As for my friends I lost four of them this year & in the back of my mind I still remember there is a pandemic going on. On the job masks are still mandatory & the way things are going it looks like masks will be required for the rest of the year.
00 Reply I would not have such a filthy habit as to wear a mask. That is disgusting and gross, filthy and morbidly unhealthy!
I will not have an experimental vaccine either!61 Reply1.1K opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic. Not even vaccinated but I gave up wearing the mask awhile ago

@Apple1996 never get that shot!
+1 yIt’s hard because I want to have other feel and be safe who are not vaccinated. As well as I live with my parents and they are very very sturn about me wearing a mask. Overall it’s annoying but I do it for the potential of others safety and that’s what matters to me.

+1 yFirst couple weeks I wore one worrying about the variants as well as so people in stores wouldn't feel I was breaking the rules. Then I realized I shouldn't be fearful of the variants. The other thing is I am in a Republican state that many felt that wearing one was being controlled by government from a Democratic imaginary virus that was no worse than a cold anyway
10 ReplyI have been vaccinated fully and as such I dropped the mask like a hot potato. Besides Dr Fauci himself said mask do work, then he said wear two or three. Politicians have lied about COVID through there teeth and as a person with Asthma, they make it harder to breath, and that can cause me harm, So no mask for me, I am done with them!

+1 yI've been vaccinated but I still wear a mask in stores or other enclosed public places. It doesn't bother me to wear a mask in those places. People can't tell by looking at me that I've been vaccinated so I figure just be a team player and wear it.

+1 yI've only ever masked if I really needed to. And during the lockup I didn't go out very often. So if anything I can stop forcing myself to remember to pick that stupid piece of cloth up.
10 ReplyIn the uk we stay masked indoors regardless of having had the vaccine or not.
This isn’t because of the Indian variant. It was the case before it, and will be after.10 Reply
+1 yI'm going to continue to wear a mask no matter what. Since masking I've not been sick once not from a cold or flu or anything. The Asians are right. They've been masking for years.

Also it's a stupid idea to say if your vaccinated you don't have to wear a mask as all the anti mask people and antivaxers will just say they are vaccinated when questioned better to keep to a blanket rule

You need a vacc. card now

+1 yVery, because I know there are new variants arriving here all the time, and nobody knows how well the vaccine will hold up against them. At least not until it might be too late
00 Reply I've only had my first vaccine, but I've had a hard time STILL after 1.5 years remembering TO mask up! lol I still forget sometimes. So I don't think it'll be hard to let it go lol.
00 ReplyNope... As soon as it was legal to do so in my state, I got rid of the mask !!!
Once you're vaccinated, there's no need for it !!!10 ReplyYes just because there are strains of covid going around the vaccines don't protect against even though the strains aren't widespread yet.

They already proved they do nothing to stop the virus anyway. This was all about politics and control.10 Reply I haven't gotten rid of the habit. I just wear my mask because I like wearing it lmao.

00 ReplyWhile it remains the law, yes, I use masks in shops and other places. If they repeal the law, I won't use them anymore.
