Will the Cup return to it's home and native land?
Will it be counted along side an Original Six legacy?
And for the record: GO CANUCKS GO!
I predicted a Boston/Vancouver final in 2009 so as I see it I called this 3 years in advance. I also predicted Vancouver in 6 at the beginning of this series which is still a distinct possibility. Unfortunately game 6 is on one of my best friends' birthday and I'll be unable to watch so I'm hoping for a game 7. At any rate, my money's still on the Canucks but it's certainly a tough one to call. Tim Thomas has been ridiculous. He's Conn Smythe material in my book. Him or Ryan Kesler. Granted, they almost never give that award to the guy I think deserves it.
I've been thoroughly impressed by Tim Thomas as well. Very much a wall and he certainly makes his city proud. Almost makes me want to cheer on the Bruins, but I can't let go of the excitement of the idea of the cup being won north of the 49th parallel after almost 20 years of nothing.
I don't like either team really. I don't like any New England sports teams and I don't like the Canucks, but I think the cup will go to the Canucks.
