Nope, while the mean incubation time is about 5.6 days, a light viral load exposures can lead to a much longer incubation period that might be stretched out 14 days or so before onset of symptoms. I remember some early claims of late onset as far out as 30 days from exposure when contact tracing was conducted... While the average person will recover from COVID in a couple of weeks, more severe cases stretch on for several months. People with weakened immunity can also potentially have persistent infections. I think the record for persistent COVID is 305 days right now. Everyone also has a different immunological memory so some quickly lose protection and become susceptible to reinfection. Some people response better; others respond worse. Additionally, under ideal conditions COVID can persist on a surface for about 28 days for someone to come along and pick it back up and put it into circulation again. The vaccine candidates are a failure. COVID is endemic. It’s best at this point for the general public to focus on getting healthy. Up your vitamin D through daily sun exposure. Exercise and eat a balanced diet. Work to eliminate comorbidity that commonly lead to worse outcomes in COVID patients. Public health officials should be focused on education in that regard and early treatment to prevent hospitalization...
Insofar as it's spread to at least TEN other species, no. Putting aside the fact that that level of distance would kill billions of people, it wouldn't even WORK.
Want the pandemic to end? Catch the virus. Recover. Become immune. If you can't run that risk, encourage others to do so. It's the only way it can ever end.

Social distancing and lockdowns just allow the virus to hide and as soon as people start to congregate again the virus will spread. Getting vaccinated is the best way to avoid that. Natural immunity also works. Hiding in the basement just delays the inevitable.
You would think so but it won't end.
No because you didn't say "Fauci says"!
I'll volunteer to go to a tropical island.
