Why feeling lonely made me feel depressed and sad?

Yes, a few months ago I was really feeling depressed. I talked to my doctor and he took it very seriously. He told me that Covid has screwed up a lot of people, I am a teacher and I have been laid off for 18 months. I was really isolated and was not working. i suspect the same thing is happening to you.

my life doesn't have any progress since Im done with study... and every morning is the worst moment.

Can you find a job? Can you reach out to friends? Do you have a plan for the future?

I can't find a job yet because I didn't have transcript yet. I don't have friends. I have fake friends. but they couldn't get a decent jobs.. our country isn't good. fresh graduate even with people who didn't go college, both of these hot same level payment.. I'm thinking to do master's degree in overseas but I'm not sure if I able to do that or not. my mentality is weak. I get scared in strange place and not good at socialize 😔

Yeah being lonely will often lead to depression and sadness.

The same thing happens to old people who live alone after partner dies, they often have no one to talk to for months.

It’s a case of trying to socialise even a little, that will help with not feeling lonely.

online chatting also helps with the not being lonely thing, but only so far.

Yeah living with family does not stop you getting lonely.

I have online friends but they don't talk much. when talking to them , I feel like my mind is empty.. like there's nothing to talk about

Still figuring this out but find peace with just being with yourself and you won’t find it being lonely you find it as if your growing through you.
