I kind of embrace it and just rest.

I've been training for a while and when you're sore the next day, it feels like a trophy, because you smashed it the previous day, although it's not necessary for you to have had a good session.

I think foam rolling or lightly stretching them out can help, although a massage gun seems interesting and can apparently help, although I've never tried that.

    First of.
    Massage roller.
    Then.
    Temperature contrast therapy.

Don't forget to eat enough of nutrition. get enough combined quality sleep. drink enough fluid to not pee dark.
and stay away from any excersise that is more than just eas up muscles for a couple of day's to get back faster stronger with more endurance than before last exercise.

Stretch, drink lots of water, and use a muscle roller. Muscle rollers hurt while you're doing them but can significantly reduce lingering muscle pain. I've also heard that drinking things with electrolytes and eating things with potassium (bananas) and calcium can help.

cold or warm compress. also read somewhere placing your feet on cold tile sorta works but never tried personally. although if you’re going hard you’re gonna feel it no matter how often you workout..

I’ve only had cramped legs once after a workout and I just sat there and cried lol. But with soreness I usually stretch and take a nap/sleep

Stretch before and after your workouts. You also need a warm up and cool down period. Not just suddenly start and stop at full load.

gotta take it slow with the stretches and warm ups. If they start having painful spasms I'll curse like a drunken sailor though if they start violently retracting. The calves... SO PAINFUL!

I try to stretch and if that doesn't work, I just deal with it, I get blisters all the time and to me they aren't worth addressing because they'll stop hurting in a few hours anyway

Gently shaking your arms and legs can help release lactic acid that gathers during a workout. Barring previous injury or other.
