It all depends on what spectrum you look at. If a farmer can live off his own land, grow his own food, generate his own power. That person can take care of his families needs and the needs of others. And say the city lost their power grid. The farmer would be smarter because he was able to be self sufficient and fully contained.

Lets says someone else live in the big city and works in product sales for a large corporation in the city and the city completely loses their power grid. In this situation the farmer has better survival skills because his company is able to operate on its own without needing the resources of others.
Since I spent most of my life working for fortune 500 companies and building my education/career. My IQ might be rated higher than most, but my survival skills for living in some cities or villages might not be as good due to life experiences.
A person with a top level IQ in the top 1% who had trouble communicating and working with normal people could also be less useful in the city than the lady who can memorize every word a person says and efficiently and effectively communicate within the community.

I tested as eligible for Mensa, so that would be 98%. I really didn't have time to add something else to my plate. My older daughter was also >98% percentile and joined for a year, but found it just wasn't worth her time either.
I really couldn't say.
I have/had a certification in personal training, general fitness and nutrition from a pretty good institution of which I had to learn a lot of different stuff.
I was a machinist a precision machine parts plant for a while.
currently work in agricultural industry as a laborer which gives technical experience for the machines/equipment we deal with and knowledge about grain, how to tell different types and varieties apart, etc.
And I have knowledge about a lot of other things. But I don't know if that would really make me smarter then any significant percentage of the population.
Smarts aren't exactly black and white you can be smart and not go to college as well as go to college and be quite an idiot. So *shrugs*
We'll just say around average.
I don't know, I have times when I think I'm really stupid and retardrd, and then there's times where I have these crazy unthinkable ideas that make me feel like a genius.. so I really have no idea... I'm either a retardrd dumbass or a genius.. or both... I did take a iq test online once but I don't know about the legitimacy of it.. It said I have 129 iq (slightly above average)
But the test might not be accurate because I also spent a hell of a lot of time thinking out the answers... like 2 hours.. so it feels like I cheated abit by taking so much time
I'm not sure. I wanna say "smarter" because I have many of the traits of an intelligent person. But I think I'm probably just the average person. 🤣 Because although I have a strong preference for more intellectual subjects, I'm likely never going to be as good at them as a high IQ person would be.

Actual intelligent people argue on the internet, not to boost ego, but in hopes of finding others who agree with us/understand us, because we are lonely to the point of frustration, and want relatable companionship and haven't yet found it.
This is why intelligent people arguing happens online far more, as in person, the odds of a compatible person seeing your viewpoints is little to none.
I'm 35 and I have the same amount of brain plasticity I had at 5, you can actually extend plasticity indefinately, but you have to enjoy being creative or solving problems in order to do that, because otherwise the types of activities needed to improve function results in a stress response, and stress kills comprehension and memory.

I am not smarter or dumber than anybody. I do however have knowledge of things that most people don't or they just tend to ignore to feel more safe or more comfortable in this world. When it all comes down to it how is intelligence measured in society? College degrees and how far you went in the eduacation system but that is memory retention not intelligence so a lot of people will answer this question wrong.

An IQ test I took a while ago put me at 130, so that would put me up in the 97th percentile. I also learn extremely quickly. However I feel inadequate in other ways. I don't like the established multiplicities of intelligence concept as if the outcome that everyone was equal was an open question, but otherwise it certainly rings true; fish can't climb trees.
Well, I'm a member of Mensa, take from that what you like, I don't generally like to talk about my intelligence which is why I've posted this anonymously, I don't need people to know how intelligent I am. I find people that openly claim to be intelligent generally aren't at all.
not sure what average is so don't know. I'm probably average, but when I work hard, I excel and was top of my college class. I've seen "bright" people and I'm not one, although my mind works well in other ways. I think there are varying levels of abilities. Sometimes the brilliant people have a lack in other areas, balance is good.
How can someone be objective, when it comes to answer that question? I am Turkish and there is a proverb for that kind of situation in our language. Its English translation is like that " Nobody says my ayran is sour." (Ayran is a Turkish traditional drink and it is supposed to be not sour.)

I’m apparently smart (iq 136/91st percentile) but I definitely feel pretty dumb most of the time.
The stats are also hilarious that almost 40% of people claim to be in the top 10%.
I feel like I am dumber I don't know I've never really done good with school and I took an IQ test recently i got 78.
I'm smart but not incel and feminist smart. So it's not the cognitive bias that I think I suck cus I'm too smart for this world. I just grown up being told over and over how much responsibility I have to make the communist party look good and prove that democracy is bullshit.
