I just don't want any. If I received them as a present I'd pass them on to some friend who appreciates it or who might sell them.
Not interested?
Well, I'll look at the highlights at the telly but I don't want to be crushed for hours in that crowd.
Anyhow, seeing selected highlights at the telly I'll get a better view than I could hope to get in a stadium.
btw, I'm living at 2hrs by high speed train from Londen, so I could go there in the morning, look at some afternoon or evening competitions and get back home by midnight...if I was willing to spend that money but I'll rather go to London 2 years after the games, staying 10 days or 2 weeks, hoping that those scandalous hotel prices will have come down a bit by then. (probably a vain hope)
I think it will be quite crowded, but the way things are going I wouldn't be surprised if people don't turn up. Some said they will throw away their tickets cos they only got one event out of ten/twenty they applied for. My dad said he rather watch the TV but then got disappointed when I said I couldn't get athletics or diving.
Oh the hotel prices! Yes we do have quite high hotel prices during peak time. Try coming over off peak, it might be a bit cheaper. I think most people tend to stay a little out of central, but I remember you previously mentioned elsewhere you would like to be within walking distance of London sights.
Indeed: near the Strand, you said
No, I live here and I don't really want to
I only really want to watch the opening cermony for the olympics but I doubt ours will be that good conpared to China, so TV it is
heard not a lot of people who entered got tickets so your lucky if you did
Thanks for BA, even though I was the only one who answered
Yeah tried to get tickets to the opening or closing, but no luck. I applied for 7 sessions in first round and got nothing. Managed to get tickets in second round but not for Olympic stadium. Obviously not first preference, but better than nothing. I just wanted my dad to be able to experience the Olympic games. Friend applied for football, but she didn't get them. A colleague also applied for hockey but didn't get them either.
Better than nothing
Oops, for some reason I thought you were asking which sport we'd want to see IF we had tickets. I don't have tickets :P But I'd want to see gymnastics.
lol , I didn't read you're answer and were almost identical lol
I didn't get any but I voted gymnastics if I could I would still begging my mom ha ha :)
