not sure because I have never tried either diet of exercise... but I am quite sure that working out in a gym is not for me, never liked the idea of it never done it
I think dieting would be easier because I've changed my eating habits and choices before, I just don't go strict with it and not with the intention of "dieting"
my usual is to get very active with sports... so that makes me eat way more, and it brings more muscular mass so, the only time I lose a bit of weight is when I stop doing sports... and such has been the case during the pandemia
yep... sports or hiking, swimming... anything but a gym, lol
Dieting for sure, my opinion eat anything but lower the portion size, you get hungry at night eat fruit, vegetables, make a salad.. Now this is my problem

Those kind of simple you'll like when you want a car what do you do you go to work every single day so you can make that car payment if you want to lose weight what do you do you sit down you open up the ice cream thing and you have a candy bar and eat that greasy Pizza and you have some potato chips and you do tomorrow what's the difference when you committed the other one you're not you have to commit you have to want it bad enough to do it I guarantee you though I have a program 30 minutes a day for 30 days walk at a very fast paced you will feel like a million dollars in 30 days your body will tone up in 30 days drink lots of water no sodas but you have to commit you have to want it that's all there is to it you can't shoot on it I mean use it like a workout is easy workout you can do it by yourself you got to do it fast though in two weeks you understand why you're doing it because you start to see a difference your brain will become a lot clearer but you will see a difference in your body do you have to commit
If not drinking water is one of the steps in dieting, then that dieting is fruitless. One moment you are on the scale, and just after drinking even a glass of water, you see that weight has been increased, not even the old weight.
There are many healthy fat people. Fat is natural for them.
If you do not want to be in the unhealthy fat category, a theory of eating only twice is there. Eating multiple times in a day secretes the digestive hormone or some hormone that just stimulates the body to get ready for digestion. This is the actual cause.
Now a famous Indian doctor successfully theorized that no matter what you eat in those two times, you eat only two times in a day. Breakfast is ok. But the middle eating is not.
You go for a walk, with the goal to burn 300 cals. But you eat 500 cals of something junk. So you actually gain 200 cals. That is not okay.
Now, as per my dad, the doctor would teach my dad in medical school, so I think this famous doctor is credible enough.

I think dieting would be more difficult. I've never *had* to lose weight although I did lose some weight. I think I mentioned that in another question of yours. I can work out but I like to eat. Food tastes so good
I exercise anyway and I have been into snack foods the last couple of years.

I would say diet. If your trying to loose or gain diet is always the hardest
