S., accounting for 73% of new infection, And As of 21 December 2021, India has reported 200 cases of  Omicron  !!!

Not particularly. We're in our fourth wave now (South Africa), and hospital admissions and deaths have been lower than in previous waves. (This is not to minimise what it is like to lose family members.) The rest of my family had CoViD-19 last week, and felt better within a few day. I don't know whether this was the Delta or Omicron variant. I have managed to avoid infection so far. We have all received two doses of the Pfizer vaccine.

I was one of the top 20 to be confirmed with covid in Georgia. There was no vaccine. Not until a year later, when J & J came. I took it. Have not experienced any issues since then. So I am not worried about omicron. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

I am. The hospitals in my state are falling apart. There’s so many ICU level Covid patients and not enough staff. If it gets worse we’ll be forced to make horrible decisions like who lives and dies.

No actually initial studies are saying while this is more virulent. It appears to be less deadly than delta. So this might spread fast before it can mutate to another strain which will help in ending the pandemic.
