Are they free because if they aren't Big Pharma is making a ton of money with all the boosters and new variants. If they are free is it because the Government is concerned about the Nation's health?

Yes, they are free at the point of delivery (ie. paid for out of tax money). Why other drugs aren't also free, is a very good question. In some places they are.
Here in England, there is a prescription fee of about £10 ($12) for most drugs, with some exceptions - including drugs to treat cancer and diabetes, and anything given while being treated in hospital, which are free. In Scotland and Wales, there is no prescription fee even.
The reason that isn't the case in the US is simply that the Republican part have blocked every attempt to create any kind of universal healthcare system. The reason they're providing free Covid shots is simply that the cost to the economy of not vaccinating people, is greater than the cost of vaccinating, and they need to vaccinate pretty much everybody for it to be effective (having to pay would obviously deter people) - otherwise it just continues to spread among the unvaccinated, and mutate into different variants which nobody has any immunity to, and which could potentially be far more lethal. Plus, the government has to be seen to be doing *something* - they can't just let millions die and not do anything, especially when the rest of the Western World is vaccinating and seeing positive results.
They aren't free if the taxpayers are paying for them. And the government paid almost all the companies for them, except Moderna, who sold them for-profit.
well, we all paid for them actually. PFizer moderna astrazenica were given billions of dollars of taxpayer money to develop and distribute these vaccines. Some one did the math on it and it came out to 78 dollars per shot for every working American... regardless whether you took it or not. remember the Government don't give you anything for free. You have already paid for it or will be paying for it eventually.
There is no cost to myself here in Canada. Still the government is paying pharm big money for these shots. So in reality they aren't free. Our tax dollars are paying for them.
It's for free here; unless you are a snob and want to waste your money on private hospitals. Governments...: are only interested to maintain enough voters and tax payers; health is a secondary consideration only. And for sure: pharma industry does not vote for them perhaps - but they still can sponsor or 'lobby' certain politicians who accept their bribes.
They are "free" to the public, but the government is using tax dollars to pay for them, including using Americans' tax dollars to buy vaccines for people in other countries. Pfizer made record profits last year because of the vaccine mandates. Notice that the government only pushes Pfizer for kids and mainly promotes that one to everyone else too? they get "donations" (bribes) from them for their campaigns.
I heard that big Pharma is making absence profits in last couple years. So someone is shelling out the money. I agree with the little girl in the picture.. . People that don’t want to live. We spend money to keep alive. People that want to live can’t afford the meds to live! Messed up, isn’t it?
But they can be just as deadly. But that's not the point. If the Government is willing to pay (actually the taxpayers are paying) for this baloney then why not something else? Or do you think they should spend it on all these Black Opps project instead that doesn't do anybody good except for the rich and powerful?

I see as many vaccinated people dying as non jabbers. The only ones getting anything out of this is Big Pharma. Well of course the news is going to report people who died as it being from not being vaccinated. They will ignore the vaccinated people dying. That's just the government manipulating the news media.
They aren't free. Either the government or private insurance is paying for the vaccines. There's no out if pocket cost to the individual getting vaccinated.
I had to provide an insurance card but even if I did not have insurance I would not have paid for it. The government (the taxpayers) are picking up the tab for this.
They’re funded from the pool of tax dollars. Unlike COVID, both chemo and insulin both treat non-communicable diseases limited to a certain demographic, so it’s poor comparison to draw.
It’s a nice thought, but sadly I don’t think people would want to be forced to pay for something that is isolated to the individual when most don’t even want to pay for something that affects everyone and caused a worldwide shutdown.
The government is paying for them with your tax dollars. So is it free? And yes Pfizer has made over $30,000,000,000 from this. This why they are only pushing the shot and nothing else. No treatments, natural immunity, nothing but the shot.
@BillyBalls I've heard that someone had to pay for theirs at Walgreens but not in cash. I think they got asked for their insurance card which would seem to me like their insurance company got charged.
So why aren't other life saving medications free? Some seniors can't even afford any expensive medicines. I heard on lady was paying $17K a year for medications that keeps her alive.
