How did natural immunity go from being the best vaccination in 2004 to not being much of a vaccination at all in 2020, 2021 and 2022?

My oh my how Dr fauci's opinion about natural immunity has changed since 2004.
When he was asked if a girl who has had the flu for ten days should be vaccinated his response was…"Well no if she got the flu for 10 days she's as protected as anybody can be because the best vaccinations is to get infected yourself".
" If she really has the flu, if she really has the flu she definitely doesn't need a flu vaccine if she really has the flu". " She doesn't need it, the most potent vaccination is getting infected yourself".

Ohhh my favorite dam topic , and just HOW did this happen? If you speak to any holistic doctor ( and most are gagged ) , they are qualified doctors , they will tell you what those of us with any remote intelligence know , and that is NOTHING beats natural immunity - NOTHING , they also dont often announce how many people just can't get Covid ( even if they tried ) its around a 1/3 rd.
So we are now told , well as we know " Lockdowns dont work " and " Its going to be a really bad flu season because of lack of exposure " HELLLLOOOOOO , Im here , Im not a doctor , why is it that only a few of us were saying this stuff?

By the way , as per above , friend of mine , holistic doctor , practised in USA for 25 years plus , completely agrees with me , cannot speak up , so it annoys me when people say " What would you know " , my daughter is also qualified with all this , none of that means anything.
