The answer is no. Does insulin end diabetes? No. Do flu shots end flus? No. Does medication help people counter depression? No. While I do believe everyone has the right to make their own decisions I personally will not get the vaccine. But I am pro-mask because it does prevent germs entering your body and getting sick. But with vaccines there are so many of them which one is right and which one is not? There have been risks for women, side affects such as blood clots, cognitive issues, and other ailments. I personally don’t think the vaccine works, I think this a money grab by the pharmaceutical industry.
Part of me thinks this virus was man-made to destroy and depopulate society. People can give my comment a thumbs down, heck I don’t care if I get 100 dislikes for this comment. I think people live in this fantasy world that this world is it and nothing else so let’s live it and party it up. People aren’t educating themselves regarding this pandemic, look at the timing of the pandemic. Economists warned of another bad recession even 6 months prior before Covid hit. When the Bank of America announced a global recession in Mid March, do people assume the recession happened because of 1 month of Covid in the United States for example?
Please, people don’t realize the game politicians and governments play. They want to manipulate people and this has happened time after time after time. If people think getting a stimulus cheque is fantastic help, I got news for you, the American dollar is on the decline. Money does not have real value. Why do you think the feds hoard millions of tons of gold bars under heavy heavy heavy security? They knew the economic system would collapse. Why do you think the governments especially in the West allied with Saudi Arabia/Israel to demolish and obliterate countries like Syria? For resources. History will repeat itself, world war 3 and another Great Depression will happen.
People still don’t believe me? Joe Biden stated he’s in favour of a “Great Reset” which is a cuter way of saying another Great Depression. Once there’s a war on currency (ie: cryptocurrency) the next big war will happen. People can call me a fucking idiot, a fucking loser or a fucking moron. But I’m going to tell those people I have a masters in public policy and an honours in political science. I think I would know a thing or two about history. I’m not going to completely in depth with this because this is a word count limit. These aren’t conspiracies or coincidences.
People will deny these things because they want to believe everything politicians and governments say and do is for the betterment of society. That’s why I don’t choose sides, both the Democrats and republicans are evil, but they don’t care they laugh at people like you guys who fight each other. People don’t want to vision a world (like the West) where it feels like Iraq or Syria. But 4 things happen in life that is guaranteed 1) death, 2) the truth will be revealed, 3) karma definitely comes around, 4) the hypocrites and liars regardless of religious affiliation, gender, ideology, political stance will be exposed. Anyone who reads this and thinks I’m a clown, well go ahead and give yourself that satisfaction of giving my comment a thumbs down. When things come to fruition of what I said, I will go on GAG, Twitter, IG and in person and ask those who called me stupid, what now? It has happened. This goes beyond the “vaccine” people should think deeper.

To the two nimrods who disliked my comment, when life doesn’t improve and this virus lingers I want to see the stupid look on their face. When World War 3 happens and people dismissed history of what happened 100 years ago in relation to today. Those will the people who panic beyond belief... because the government isn’t saving you then.

For countries with leaders who care about their economy and citizens it will. They'll reach a threshold of vaccinated population and be able to resume business internally and internationally without their own population being afraid or ill.
I don't think it will be the same in the US or Western Europe. We'll hit that threshold and stay scared because a minority does not want life to return to "normal"... so we'll drag it out, wrecking our economies and being non-entities in the international community for a few years.
If this is comparable to the flu, but novel, we'll enact the same measures for the flu when this is beat. One thing I'm curious about is no one talks about Africa, are we going on a vaccine campaign there, or keeping parts of the continent as disease reservoirs? I mean, we basically do the same thing with rabies in the US, but the threat of countries mutating strains that can infect vaccinated people because an entire continent is forgotten about would be handy for any government to keep trade, travel, and lockdown restrictions.
then force them to get the vaccine, or throw them in jail, anti-vaxxers are an international threat, that must be eliminated, I want there to be herd immunity, so those who don't want to get it, should get a bullet instead, choice should be, a vaccine or a bullet
@NatalieKeller95 Your compassion knows no bounds. The logistics would be simpler if everyone who tested positive already was last in line. You're also missing the point, even if we got 100% vaccinated in the US and EU, there are people who are more scared of reopening than keeping the current status quo.
Look at the reaction to Texas and Florida reopening though their citizens were overwhelmingly in favor of it. It is a minority that wants things shut down, and a minority can keep them shut down. Your reaction to vaccinate cartel style is actually a good example of that. Probably few people believe that strongly, but mandatory vaccination with steep punishments isn't improbable simply being pushed by that minority of people.
If everyone takes the vaccine, the entire human population can act as an incubator for t - cells, and white blood cells that are conditioned and programmed to fight the strand within the vaccine, along with upcoming, more virulent strains, as they infect the population, making it more difficult for the new strains to find incubators that are not resistant to it, making it less likely that humans that have no resistance to the vaccine can be found to perpetuate a more deadly strain of this race war between the virus and the incubators, which are human beings. This is a race war we have too win. If we work together to fight it, to develop resistance to it, so that the virus itself cannot gain the unity it needs to overtake our immune systems, it is literally a war of us against them, and only if everyone takes the vaccine and fallows the recommendations by the CDC, World Health Organization, and other health organizations around the world, can we gain the upper hand. These are humanities fighting force...The enemies fighters...T-cells will give us the advantage. As a species, we can produce them. Communal participation, through vacination, is how too do it.

Why is everybody on this site so stupid?
No it won’t end the pandemic.
First off, even if it were a real pandemic, as in it was killing more than 0.01% of people, you couldn’t end it with a vaccine. It’s a coronavirus. The common cold and the flu are also types of coronavirus. There has never been a successful vaccine for a coronavirus because they mutate so often and therefore the flu vaccine doesn’t cover all new strains of flu.
Secondly, they’re saying that there are new strains. They started saying this as soon as the vaccine became available. Anybody who understands that they want to keep locking us down saw it coming ages ago, it’s easily predictable. They gave the gullible hope by saying that the vaccine will bring us back to normal, to make sure that they’d take the vaccine. Then they did a bait and switch and said that the only time we can come off is when there are no new strains, and surprise surprise there’s a new super mutant killer virus coming towards the end of the year which is more dangerous than the one we’ve already had - wait until the end of the year before you call me crazy, just watch.
Eh I agree but unfortunately people act like sheep. I think people are miserable at home and they are eager to get life back to normal. I can understand elderly people getting the shot because their doctors told them and that’s fine older people can do it. But this pandemic will last awhile regardless of “vaccines”. But I have a feeling what’s going to happen then. Pro-vaccine takers will yell and scream and fight with those who did not get the vaccine. I personally won’t get it, will I wear a mask, sure, but I won’t get the vaccine. Maybe this is what the government wants, to rip society apart so people hurt or kill each other over this vaccine. I just think what’s happening today is reminiscent of what happened 100 years ago. I do think World War 3 is on the horizon this decade or the next.
I don't think it'll eradicate it completely, but it's already lowering hospital admissions and fatalities. So it's definitely saving lives.
People who have had the vaccine can still spread it. The vaccine just stops symptoms worsening, so prevents death. It doesn't stop you catching the virus. So i don't think the fluv vaccine programme will eliminate the virus, especially considering how it mutates to survive
I was listening to one expert a few days ago, and he said eventually Covid will be like the flu where it'll become a seasonal virus. So people will need to receive an annual covid jab.

Eventually yes. Although the vaccines that are developed are not against the virus itself but instead are against preventing severe illness and hospitalisation.
At this point is not clear if any of the approved vaccines blocks transmission of virus or not because even after vaccination one can catch covid-19 but it will be a minor version of the disease.
Unless they come up with a vaccine that can outright block the virus and prevent any sort of transmission then pandemic will end. This is one way.
The other way it can end is as more and more people get vaccinated with vaccines that are effective against different variants of covid-19 then eventually the pandemic will turn into an endemic (restricted to certain areas and clusters of people who are not vaccinated). In future covid-19 may be restricted to nothing more than a common cold type of thing.
These are the two ways I can think off as in how this pandemic will end

If the reproduction rate gets low enough, then it should become manageable. That doesn't mean it will completely disappear. It could be more like the flu, with regular outbreaks, but not to the point of being a pandemic.
Vaccinations (assuming they work) should be a big part of reducing the reproduction rate. We are relying pretty heavily on it working. It's yet to be seen how many people get the vaccine, and how well it works in the long run.
If it doesn't work, sooner or later they will have to open everything up and let the virus take it's course.
No. The vaccines are not 100% effect at all. Moderna, Sputnik V, Pfizer etc. Only have an efficiency rate of 90% against the normal variants of Covid and some even lower in the 60s-80% range. The deadlier variants of the virus such as the South African variant, resilience is even lower. This ultimately will most likely take years, maybe even decades until it is completely gone. Right now they're arguing that the vaccine is the best way not to get killed, that is people at the high risk range, but even then you can get sick with it and suffer from it after taking the Vaccine doses. So no, this will linger on.
The establishment has corrupted the language surrounding this "vaccine." A vaccine gives you immunity against a virus. For instance all of us who were vaccinated when we were babies, how many of us contracted mumps, measles, et al? The answer is zero simply because vaccines actually protect you from contracting the virus. Anti-virals on the other hand lessen the effect of a virus. Ask yourself this, if the CDC, et al is saying it only lessens the viral symptoms, but you can still contract Covid, by definition this "vaccine" isn't a vaccine, but rather an anti-viral.
This entire pandemic from the Chinese lying to the world, to the US government and media has been one giant manipulation. To say it is an over reaction is incorrect, when people over react they often course correct upon realization of their error, have we even begun to see such with the establishment?
If you are asymptomatic with COVID-19 you don't die.

IF enough people get vaccinated and if rich countries help poorer ones get their populations vaccinated. If that DOES NOT happen, the virus will keep re-emerging in pockets repeatedly until the groups can be vaccinated. It's like any virus: polio, smallpox. Vaccination eliminated smallpox worldwide. Polio is nearly non existant. Measles, mumps and rubella don't happen anymore in first world countries due to childhood vaccines and the latest vaccine is the HPV vaccine for pre teens that might wipe out genital warts, the most common STD. Eventually, there might be a vaccine against HIV. This looks probable. There is a prophylactic against it currently. It has not been called a vaccine.
@NatalieKeller95 I looked it up Nat. Said there is evidence of smallpox lesions on Egyptian mummies. 3,000 years old. So NOT the 17th century. First inoculations against smallpox started in the 1700s. 1980 was year World HEalth declared it eradicated. Amazing.
Yes, the pandemic is already beginning to end just like the previous pandemics we had like the Spanish flu pandemic or the polo epidemics. Vaccines coupled with heard immunity will not destroy Covid-19, but it will eventually make it just like polo, mumps, or even the bubonic plague. It will exist, but we will control it. I don't know why people are saying the pandemic will not end due to vaccines. We don't live in medieval times, we have the ability to end plague. We've done it before, we'll do it again, just look at history. Covid-19 is very similar to the Spanish flu, that pandemic lasted 2 years. I think, at most, we have another year to endure before this pandemic is basically over, maybe sooner, at least for some countries.
@NatalieKeller95 I'm sorry, but that is grossly inaccurate. There were infected people who survived the bubonic plague. It's lethality is 50-70% untreated and 10-15% treated.
There is even a story about Pope Clement VI sweating the plague out of his body.
It is a cool alternative history to think about though, if all of Europe, Asia, and Africa died to a super-bubonic plague. Then the world would have been ruled by the cultures that lived in the Americas. A world where the dominant cultures are Aztec, Incan, and Mayan.
Exactly, which is why this pandemic will undoubtedly end with the mass production and distribution of vaccinations, coupled with a herd immunity that is easy to facilitate due to it's lessened lethality.

no it won't. i mean you see the next "new" strand is already around and we don't know if the vaccine will help with that one too. those flu type virus are inherently faster than our medicine. that's why "in my opinion" it is way more important to keep yourself fit and your immune system worked out (by actually fighting disease and being sick sometimes) than stressing about a vaccine. after all, most people that have covid, survive covid without any long term implications.
entirely different story for non mutating shit like polio, diphtheria, tetanus or rabies. for that shit we have no cure. you will die or face severe long term consequences plus the vaccine is 100% effective, cause those viruses didn't really change in decades. so yeah. think about vaccinations and why you should get one. don't let the media tell you what to do.
so since this "Pandemic" is mostly about irrational fear that's not backed by a real danger, this fear won't go away fom a real vaccine.

Many places are now down to endemic levels. To not report that, reveals how dishonest stations have become, and complicit with misbehaving politicians. Also, we don't have a lot of good, true vaccines. We have experimental biological agents being false advertised as vaccines , when they are in fact gene therapy.
Remember that 2018 Spider-Man game? Propaganda, to make it sound ridiculous. The injection is not a cure. It *is* a disease, a lab-created one, that is wildly imperfect , and will make your body tear itself apart! And just like the creators of Devil's Breath in the game, those making the jabs deserve to be tried in The Hague for war crimes !
Don't wait forever to get mad and make war against the NWO! Do it now, before you are the next sucker to get paralyzed or witness the skin peel off your legs! You wanna beat the exosome? Sunlight , salmon, D, zinc, calcium , and magnesium!

No. They are not meant to. They are just meant to 1) make money and 2) usher in biometric tracing and tracking, digital currency, and enslavement of human beings. Because of that, the powers that be will not concede the end to the "pandemic" until they achieve their goals. Note that they already predicting, mutations and new pandemics because they want to usher in a "new normal" of full totalitarianism.
It's impossible to eliminate germs from the environment. Contact with germs is necessary for a healthy immune system. We already have hundreds of billions in and on our bodies. We couldn't survive without them. They are like a healthy, biodiverse ecosystem.
There never was a "pandemic" unless one uses the WHO's recent redefinition, which makes it possible to define almost anything, including the annual, winter flu as a pandemic.
The vaccine will not end the pandemic. We haven't even gotten rid of the flu. No ones knows how long the vaccine is effective for and if it protects against other variants or strands. I'm just going to boost my immunity and continue distancing and masking up.
By itself it is unlikely since the vaccination is neither a perfect protection nor a perfect solution since there are both people who can't be vaccinated such as immune compromised individuals or those who refuse to get vaccinated. Its a tool to help us fight the pandemic and a very powerful tool that could be used to gain enough of an advantage to win but its all down to how well you implement it in the greater struggle.
Only if we have everyone vaccinated before the virus mutates into a vaccine resistant form. Once that happens then we have to start all over again and invent a new vaccine and next time lock downs will be universal, mandatory and violators will go to prison where they will die.

Yes. Hence why they have been developed.
The purpose of the vaccine is to reduce risk of death from the pandemic.
Once risk of death lowers to manageable levels, then the pandemic will be declared over. But that won't be the end of the covid problem though.
Short answer: Very likely yes. Long answer: Scenario1: herd immunity is achieved through vaccination and sooner or later worldwide. Corona is then yesterday's snow. One only has to refresh the vaccination annually or every few years. Scenario 2: by constant escape mutations the vaccines must be always fast adapted and it ignites a race from vaccine adaptation against new mutations. Scenario 3 (very unlikely): an escape mutation occurs that alters the spike protein in such a way that it is no longer possible to vaccinate against Corona. Such variants have already been observed in the laboratory. The faster the world is vaccinated, the less likely this scenario is to occur, since the selection pressure on the virus is greatest when vaccination is slow (and thus the probability of escape mutations increases).
It will for me. If you people wanna keep locked down after 70-80% of the country gets their vaccine, be my guest. I will not be wearing a mask and staying indoors for the rest of my life; and if after the vaccine has been administered to the vast majority of the population, they still want us to follow the current m. o, then there is no end in sight. I won't listen to the government should this happen.
Of course not... the lockdowns have nothing to do with COVID these days; it's all about control. Even the WHO acknowledges that lockdowns aren't helping much of anything. There is literally no reason to continue the lockdowns. For most groups, COVID was hardly a threat at all and the groups that it was a threat for could have been easily protected by not doing dumb shit like sending your sick to the nursing homes when you have perfectly good treatment facilities sitting in your harbors.
Now they're talking about vaccine passports before you can go anywhere. You gotta be kidding me... a vaccine passport...

Sure looks like it. I mean with things starting to loosen up and states saying they're going to fully open.
It sure seems like it's going to end soon. Even with the variants out there I'm guessing it's just going to be like a flu shot where you get it once a year.
I don't think the virus is going away. But I don't think it will be labeled as the pandemic anymore.

Yeah, the killswitches are in the vaccines so a glock of a switch and any and all vaccinated people just keel over and die of a colossal heart attack or something of the ilk They just kill most of the population so no more spreading
They have already stated that the vaccine will do nothing, that we will have to still stay lockdowned and we will still be mandated to wear masks even though the vaccine would nullify both arguments, as well as it being used to attempt a vaccine passport to control the population even though it violates multiple laws. So no.

Nope. Even with lockdown measures and the urging of everyone to get the vaccine, even trying to mandate it will not stop it.
The virus mutated and now a new strain is out. Guess what comes next despite the vaccine? Goals posts shift again and the vaccine will just be like the flu shot. Congratulations, now you get two flu shots a year!
It will not because the vaccination campaign isn't going great all around the world. Meanwhile, new deadlier variants of the virus appear and the already existing vaccines don't work as good on them. Also, they don't provide lifelong protection, only for a couple of months - by the time most people will be vaccinated, the vaccines will be inefficient. Hopefully, they can find a good treatment by then or another kind of vaccine.

If I’m not mistaken I’m pretty sure for America at least it 75% of the population take the vaccine then all lockdowns and mask mandates will be lifted. So my guess is yes it will end the pandemic but of course covid maybe still be a minor issue.
Probably not, because a lot of people are against it, and don't want to take it, also not everyone can take vaccinations, if you have some sort of health issues that can cause blood clots, etc you can't have it.
I think that the corona virus will be with us for a very long long time. Just like colds and fevers, they were new once as well and they were a problem, until they came out with a vaccine it didn't become much of a problem.
This will probably happen with corona.
So no it won't completely end corona I don't think anything will, viruses mutate and develop... so it will probably an on going project to end it.

ok. so think of covid-19 as the bird or swine flu that happened in the past 20 years.
the swine flu has had variants since it was named swine flu. we still eat pork.
the bird flu was even more recent. we still eat bird.
all of this flu is due to artificial creation through testing in laboratories. i don't know where they are. probably china. everything is made there lol
Only if enough people get the vaccine, which is looking less and less likely. We don't know the exact percentage of people who would have to get it to achieve herd immunity, but with most diseases it's around 95% or higher. Right now, I can't see anywhere near that many people getting the vaccine
The vaccines we currently have are junk, and will definitely not impede these unstoppable killing machines (aka variants). And these unstoppable killing machines will kill children, babies and animals!
So our only chance of survival will be to quarantine in hazmat suits and 15 masks.
Like a lot of things this vaccine is The UNKNOWN & I guess we will have to see what happens & most of all hope for the best & all I can say is I hope they got it right.
Vaccination or immunisation are the only way to end a pandemic.
Problems may arise when there are more and more mutated versions of the covid19 virus, to a point where one mutation is so different it no longer triggers the antibodies from the vaccine and a new vaccine has to be found, approved and given to the people.

No because they will make it go on as long as they want.. Vaccines are just a way for big pharma to get billions of dollars in their accounts.. Vaccines haven't even been proven to stop transmission, and people who took the vaccines contracted "Covid" not long after getting it and died.. So I highly doubt it.. It'll only end once people continue to wake up and let live in false fear..

The vaccine doesn’t mean you’re immune to the virus. It’s just a preventative measure to make sure it doesn’t kill you. The virus will always be around. It’s just a matter of how people take care of themselves to prevent it from spreading.

A friend suggested herd immunity will end the lockdowns like the common cold which almost everybody gets but almost nobody dies from.
We hope it will but I highly doubt it. They are saying that the vaccine may only Last 6 months and it's only 85% effective. 264 fully vaccinated people ended up getting the virus and 3 died. Is it worth it to get the vaccine? What are the long term effects? So far you can get blood clots from one of the vaccines. I'm taking my chances for now. I'll continue doing what I've been doing. The vaccine will probably end the pandemic but it won’t eliminate covid. There are a lot of anti-science people who won’t take the vaccine and will continue to be infected and spread the virus. A majority will probably be vaccinated and life can resume more normally for them but we’ll be battling this for years to come until the unvaccinated achieve herd immunity.

That's true but I hope that when the majority of the population is vaccinated, there will be herd immunity so there will be a significant drop in cases.
NO, this is a Virus and it will continue to be spread; probably not as bad as we have seen it, but it will still be there and mutate just like the regular Flu that goes around every year.
In a sense. Covid will no longer be something that shuts down countries but like the seasonal flu we will get regular vacations to new strains of the virus.

@NatalieKeller95 Too right. I'm absolutely sick to my back teeth of those insufferable tosspots here in Britain.
I like to throw Natalie in jail for encouraging infringement on our freedoms that is traitorous and treasonous
These are humanities fighting force...
Vaccinations (assuming they work) should be a big part of reducing the reproduction rate. We are relying pretty heavily on it working. It's yet to be seen how many people get the vaccine, and how well it works in the long run.
If it doesn't work, sooner or later they will have to open everything up and let the virus take it's course.
It has not been called a vaccine.
smallpox lasted from the 17th century to the last 20th century,
*late
@NatalieKeller95 I looked it up Nat. Said there is evidence of smallpox lesions on Egyptian mummies. 3,000 years old. So NOT the 17th century. First inoculations against smallpox started in the 1700s. 1980 was year World HEalth declared it eradicated. Amazing.
Polio* not polo.
bubonic plague in the 14th century literally had no survivors when it ended, everyone who got it died
A world where the dominant cultures are Aztec, Incan, and Mayan.
ok but covid isn't more lethal than the bubonic plague or the Spanish flu, covid might be close to the Spanish flu in terms of legality,
*lethality
Exactly, which is why this pandemic will undoubtedly end with the mass production and distribution of vaccinations, coupled with a herd immunity that is easy to facilitate due to it's lessened lethality.
entirely different story for non mutating shit like polio, diphtheria, tetanus or rabies. for that shit we have no cure. you will die or face severe long term consequences plus the vaccine is 100% effective, cause those viruses didn't really change in decades. so yeah. think about vaccinations and why you should get one. don't let the media tell you what to do.
so since this "Pandemic" is mostly about irrational fear that's not backed by a real danger, this fear won't go away fom a real vaccine.
The purpose of the vaccine is to reduce risk of death from the pandemic.
Once risk of death lowers to manageable levels, then the pandemic will be declared over. But that won't be the end of the covid problem though.
Now they're talking about vaccine passports before you can go anywhere. You gotta be kidding me... a vaccine passport...
It sure seems like it's going to end soon. Even with the variants out there I'm guessing it's just going to be like a flu shot where you get it once a year.
I don't think the virus is going away. But I don't think it will be labeled as the pandemic anymore.
I would appreciate "vaccine passports" that would allow me to live 'normally' and keep the freeloading anti-vaxxer's beyond a social-distance away..
They just kill most of the population so no more spreading
Yeah I'm vaccinated, I just want out of the place
The virus mutated and now a new strain is out. Guess what comes next despite the vaccine? Goals posts shift again and the vaccine will just be like the flu shot. Congratulations, now you get two flu shots a year!
Excellent analysis spot on
the swine flu has had variants since it was named swine flu. we still eat pork.
the bird flu was even more recent. we still eat bird.
all of this flu is due to artificial creation through testing in laboratories. i don't know where they are. probably china. everything is made there lol
The vaccines we currently have are junk, and will definitely not impede these unstoppable killing machines (aka variants). And these unstoppable killing machines will kill children, babies and animals!
So our only chance of survival will be to quarantine in hazmat suits and 15 masks.
Vaccination or immunisation are the only way to end a pandemic.
Problems may arise when there are more and more mutated versions of the covid19 virus, to a point where one mutation is so different it no longer triggers the antibodies from the vaccine and a new vaccine has to be found, approved and given to the people.
Stop being stupid people! An hour of facebook scrolling doesn't mean you know more than someone who spwnt years in college and actually researched this shiz. Get frickin vaccinated when you can, still wear a mask and keep your distance, don't be dumb.
Ridiculous. Not everyone has to be vaccinated to achieve herd immunity. About 60% is enough.
Ok boomer.
You’re ignorant
:0 Really?
Yeah stunad!
Yeah really. Stop eating paint chips
Crazy, but now what am I supposed to do with the rest of my paint chips dear dudes?
Lmao. If the vaccine protects you, someone else not getting it won’t affect you.
My friend from college got vaccinated. And got COVID 3 months after he was vaccinated.
That's true but I hope that when the majority of the population is vaccinated, there will be herd immunity so there will be a significant drop in cases.
Let's hope so.
and we'll be wearing masks forever and normal will never return?
The only way im getting it if i am dead
