I start a new job tomorrow but have been diagnosed with a infection/illness whag do I do?

I’ve not been myself the past week so went to the doctor and they said I have to take these anti biotics to feel better and will feel better in a week or two. Although I was meant to start my job tomorrow. What do I do? The anti biotics make me feel so sick and she told me that I should rest. I’m scared to tell the job incase they just think there’s no point since I’m ill.

Here in germany you just call in sick and start once you are healthy again.

You do the adult thing and tell them. People get sick occasionally.

Personally I would try to tough it out, though explain the situation to your boss.

Chances are if you feel sick from an antibiotic, it's an allergy. Get a different prescription. Keep it covered and you're good to go
