People with endometriosis, or know someone or know about the illness itself, how long does it take for stages to advance?

My doctor clinically diagnosed me with endometriosis. I had to wait a few more years for surgery (due to certain reasons). However, I'm curious how long it takes stages to advance? I'm very concerned about the fertility issues and worried I'm on a timeline. I have only been in extreme pain for about four years. So at some stage (maybe when still now) I'm at stage one? I'm just curious how long it takes. Does the stages change quickly? Please help

It's simple. I know many who are literally "eaten up" with endo. I have one who has had to fly to Oregon to have excision surgery because there are not many doctors who operate in the US. She had endometrial lesions on her intestines. Every month that you continue to have a cycle you are contributing to your condition getting worse. I knew early on that I would likely get endometriosis that's why I stopped my periods earlier in life. Yeah, I know you probably want a kid, blah blah, I get it but I didn't.

I have it too and it's really very individual, it's best to get an appointment with an ob/gyn and they will be able to steer you in the right direction as far as treatments go. Good luck!

I'm sure others will answer your main question, but most Doctors will completely ignore anything to do with nutrition or diet. Take a look at this video. Also I bet if I were to ask you how much iodine you get daily, you wouldn't know. Most of the population are deficient, even the ones that consume iodized salt (mistakenly thinking it's enough).
