It’s been five days since I got my wisdom teeth out I’m wondering if I’m safe to take small hits of weed blunt?

Its usually recommended to wait over 5 days, I will personally advise you not to, because it can be painful and you could get dry socket. That’s just the general advice that I have from when I got mine taken out. If anything, try to get edibles, that are easy to chew or swallow.



I’m not gonna tell you it’s a dumb idea, because I was in the same position as you. I wanted to vape after I got mine taken out. However, it was extremely painful to even inhale or suck anything. So, it was idiotic of me to even try. It’s best to ask your doctor, even though it might be embarrassing… But they know your situation best, and know if it’s safe for you and your healing process.

Wait until your gums completely heal.

If you "suck" in air by smoking, drinking through a straw, etc you will increase your chances of developing "dry socket". I ended up in the emergency room because the pain was excruciating.

If you HAVE to smoke/medicate with Marijuana, place enough tissue over the area so that you don't suck the blood clot from your gums during inhalation.

@noamazia chewing gum should be fine but may be painful if your gums are swollen.

Just chew on the side you didn't get teeth pulled from.
