My wisdom teeth. Soon gone, but never forgotten
Do you have any advice re: wisdom tooth removal?
My wisdom teeth. Soon gone, but never forgotten
Watch out for any anomalies and if there are any, remove it as soon as possible. I had a nightmare with one of my four teeth. It just wouldn't come out of the gum and kept pushing my gum onto the upper jaw making me lose sleep for days on end. Since the gum was covering the tooth in question, removal wasn't easy either. They had to cut the gums open and let it grow saying that it'll be removed if it causes other problems. All other three just grew out fine.
My brother on the other hand suffered pain for one tooth after another. Had to get all of them removed. He recalls it being an annoyance, nothing more. Try not to chomp down on hard, hot food and keep icing the area if it swells up. It will hurt but hey, in the end a comfortable jawbone is better than a tooth removal 🙈
If you are one that has them, and they are going to mess up your other teeth, then have them out, but if you have anxiety and pain issues, they can knock you out, so you only have the minimal pain after, and they should give you some medication, not narcotics, maybe just high-dose Tylenol which should be enough for the 2-3 days when it hurts.
If you ignore it, and leave them in, they can mess up your other teeth, and the bite orientation, and cause more problems!
I know you can handle it, and it isn't that big of a deal, OK? It's worse if you are awake, and they are yanking them out, and you can kind of feel it, like happened for me, when I was your age.
See if they can knock you out, completely!
I had lots of pain due to the teeth, so I was looking forward to getting them out. I got all 4 taken out at once. Didn't hurt at all. I've had braces & wisdom tooth surgery. Braces are worse. (For me at least.) They let you keep your teeth in a bag as a souvenir. Lol Just make sure you ice a lot and don't eat hard foods for at least 2 weeks after.
Had mine taken out at 17. Discussed feminist icon Andrea Dworkin with the oral surgeon before he put me under.

Make sure that you'll be knocked-out before the procedure, and that you've got trusted loved-ones who'll bring you home.
I just lay-down on the chair, watched the face-mask placed on me, and suddenly re-gained consciousness at home. (I feared I may have said a string of stupid things, like on YouTube videos on the matter, but apparently I didn't say a word… so I was told.)
Until you're healed, live on toasted-bread & 1can of Campbell's® soup for each of your meals. (You will lose SO MUCH weight!)
Don't change the water pump on your car right after getting them extracted. And don't go to the ball park and try to eat nachos later that night.
I did both these, both poor decisions, lol.
I hear all these bad things about getting wisdom teeth pulled. Honestly mine were a snap. I didn't even take any pain relier aftwr the novocaine war off.
Oh no!! Not your wisdom teeth!! (Pulls hat off my head and bows my head in silence) they will be missed :(
Just get ready to sleep and be careful with what you eat and drink for the next 48 hours
Wisdom teeth now days can be taken out without sedation and
you could be awake and completely numb that is what happened
when i was age 19 . I don't know why they put people under to
take their wisdom teeth out?
If we both get drunk on Jack I can do it for free and you won't feel much, although you may lose a few extra teeth then the wisdoms, but WTH it was free.
Sounds like a plan, should I wire you the downpayment?
Have someone video you and ask questions. anesthesia = funny answers. Have a trustworthy person regulate your pain medication until the anesthesia wears off.
hope you like pudding and mashed potatoes
Mashed potatoes: bring it on 🍀
You probaly will be in a lot of pain.
Dammnnn mine never grew 😂😂
