What is the best way to have your wisdom teeth removed?

When I was 19 when I had to have my wisdom teeth removed. In the 90s sedation dentistry was a luxury and was not readily available. I was awake but given shots in my jaw. I had like 6 infections and still did not numb. They dentist practically jumped in my lap to get the leverage he needed to remove the teeth. I even had to have stitches. They did them two at a time. If I had to have it done again I would opt to have general anesthesia

I was put under, all I remember was counting back from 100 and the next thing I knew I was waking up trying to answer questions with a bunch of gauzed stuffed in my cheeks, so I didn't know about any of it.

A year ago I had all of my wisdom teeth removed & although my dentist offered to do it I went to an oral surgeon that was in my network, highly rated & closer to my house. On the other hand my dentist wouldn’t knock me out & they were only going to remove one of them. I found an oral surgeon & I told them I wanted all four of them removed & one stop shop.

Wear a hat that says white lives matter in Chicago or New York. You will get your wisdom teeth removed in no time. Don't wear sexist hats, women don't hit hard enough.
