I highly doubt it was the white tea that made you gain weight. Unless you were adding a load of sugar to it.
Weight loss is as simple as calories in vs calories out. If you eat more than you burn you will gain weight. If you eat less than you burn you will lose weight. If you eat the same amount as you burn you will stay the same. There are various ways to restrict calorie intake by various diets and obviously ways to burn calories by various exercises
A combination of diet and exercise is the way to go. Yo need to engage in some form of exercise that will raise your heart rate for at least 30 minutes. This willincrease your metabolism and burn more calories even at rest.

I dont know the stuff about the tea, and, being in nature is definitely good for you. There has been proven evidence of "grounding" or, putting your bare feet on the ground and having energy transfer between your body and the planet
