I did not know what it was. I read the text and this woman is soft as a sneakerful. Medical science shows that obesity caused many health problems. Heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer and many other conditions. I really doubt that there are too many people who buy into this.
A lot of people don’t think of some of the less serious, but painful side effects of obesity- joint and spinal issues come on hard and fast and once you can’t exercise you’re just going to get heavier, more depressed, with more health problems.
What's destroying American health is poverty, no universal healthcare and a shitty educational system. And that's been going on for many decades.
Universal health care could only work in a social that is on average healthy and demographically homogeneous, American is unfortunately neither.
I’m not interested in paying higher taxes for other peoples bad health.
People like you are the problem. We should get rid of every single one of you libertarian psychopaths, you're mindset that is everything wrong with our society.
I genuinely wish people like you would just die.
Nobody is born with a ridiculous duty to look good, people are fat due to chemical ignorance and bodily mechanics, not gluttony or laziness. I lost 14 pounds in one month when I found chemical reasons behind my weight gain.
Absolutly yes

No. I think processed foods, chemicals, sodium, sugar, and over medicating are destroying American health and society. Body positivity is just a mechanism for coping with what seems like is out of our individual capability to control. Obesity will be there with or without the positivity or shaming.
@TrueConfection yes, read the book "The Jungle" By Upton Sinclair. It was written in the 50's but it was ahead of it's time.
@exitseven ok, I'll look for it
I think body positivity is good until it gets to a point of encouraging unhealthy behaviourthe thing is somebody can be heavy and still be healthy idc about the weight itself just about health
Not so much as the integration of vegetable oil and high fructose corn syrup into the average diet. They're both extremely artificial and play havoc on the human body.
a little bit, but not that much because most people don't buy into that anyways
It allows a 300 pound female to think that everything is OK while she has a heart attack in her 40s
I’m definitely body positive I am a bigger girl and I think it’s the right thing I shouldn’t have to feel like I need to be skinny to be hot.
What's positive about declining health?
Lol what a crock of shit!!
