A groundbreaking study may have discovered the cause for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) Isn't this amazing?

For so long parents have been blamed for the sudden death of their infant but now thanks to science we may have found out why it happens. A study from Australias Sydney University discovered that babies who passed from SIDS had a significantly lower amount of an enzyme called butyrylcholinesterase (BChE). This enzyme plays a key role in waking babies from their sleep. Low levels can reduce their ability to wake up and alert to a problem.

The study opens opportunity to test babies for the deficiency in the enzyme and figure out a way to address or prevent the issue.

This will definitely bring peace of mind and ease a lot of guilt for the parents of thousands of SIDS Angel babies.

its long been a nightmare for parents and I’ve seen police inquires for this.

Being investigated by the police when your child has suddenly died must be a living nightmare.

The advice you get with a new born is fairly basic and the panic you have with every little thing that happens.

while some of the advice is basic, some families are not even given this basic advice nor follow it.

having a new born baby at home is fucking scary, your emotions move from complete love to complete terror to complete ‘what the fuck do I do’.

That's where we got into taking "prenatal" vitamins... for others issues.

This is one of those things I've always been aggravated with. That they just couldn't figure out what was happening. I mean it happens enough that they put a common term to it. I'm glad they figured it out though.

That is really good news. My wife had a friend whose baby died from it a few months before our son was born. We watched all our kids a lot more because of it. It really is a big concern.
