Lunch: 2 bean burritos (with black beans and refried beans) with olives and potatoes inside.
Dinner: almond milk smoothie with fruit and 8 tbsp of peanut butter.
4th meal: tofu fried rice
Because it's all natural Whole Food it's not bad, I would say that's too much peanut butter, but if it's an all natural peanut butter then it's not too bad.
I'd say spread your protein out more evenly across meals would make it better. Assuming you're trying to be vegan with your diet. If that's the case, swap out peanut butter for cashew butter. Better for you and more protein.
If you're not trying to be vegan, I would say eat 2-4 eggs a day aswell and you're good. You want to have enough protein by the end of the day, but you get a more anabolic effect by spreading it out across all of your meals
Which will help you in both weight loss and mass gain. Your metabolic rate is entirely dictated on how much lean muscle mass you have. If you're losing a little bit of muscle as you're losing weight, then your metabolism will literally slow down because you have less lean mass burning energy
That's the biggest reason why protein matters a lot and even more so when you're cutting. When you're putting on mass you actually don't need as much protein because carbohydrates have a muscle protein sparing effect
Just keep in mind that plant sources of protein most of the time or incomplete and need to be mixed with other sources of plant protein in order to get full amino acids to be used
So if you're eating beans you want to mix that with rice as well to complete the protein between the two of them. And your burritos it's probably okay because of the tortilla. Just something to think about
That sounds like it tastes like complete sh*t. So based on that, absolutely healthy.
The burritos are questionable, but everything else sounds healthy.
Why are the burritos questionable?
Not particularly but it just seems like a lot of food.
