My energy is way better prior to eating (provided I have eaten the previous day, otherwise I’ll just get too relaxed & content to stare at the sky 😂)
I hate having to think about what to eat or spend time presiding food nor do I enjoy sitting for a meal…. Having one meal a day at whatever time whatever place I find convenient keeps food as something i take in for sustenance without having to revolve hardly any time around it. Mentally or physically. Which for me is very liberating —vs my childhood a completely diff situation where food played an unhealthy role through my guardian as a means of control over me.
I hate sleeping on a remotely full stomach. Eating once a day leaves plenty of time from meal to bed time. I rest way better and I never have to get up to one. 😴
Much easier to make sure everything I eat is really healthy and I never accidentally eat bad or am in need of food bc I never have anything unexpectedly.
My stomach suffered nerve Damage from childhood & one meal day provides flexibility for rest when it’s less efficient without my losing on calories bc I’m trained to eat what I need within a relatively small window. If poor appetite, I will have nutritional supplements.
It leaves me time for other activities I literally think of food no more than once a day -if that. I understand food is a great joy for many they love to plan prepare share etc etc for me I love the efficiency of one meal. I know of a philosopher from 1600 who ate only lunch. & In china they have practices “ half pi gu” for centuries & I see it as a current fad for weight loss on YouTube “OMAD”
