Got a new job.
I left a position and department I was in for nearly 10 years because I was undervalued, underappreciated, and the boss treated me like crap while others that did the bare minimum got promoted, praise, and did whatever they wanted to with no repercussions. So I left and went where I was appreciated.
Got a raise AND promotion! And my coworkers appreciate me. Best decision I made for myself!
The pandemic just made me realize that if I had stayed there, things would have gotten worse, not better, due to the type of work it was.
I stopped my gym habits and started ice skating for fun only, I gained some healthy weight and I'm standing up more for myself and truly doing stuff only for me

Yea I got ripped during quarantine lol. Prioritized my sleep because wasn't going out like that mid week for the first half of 2020. Started going to house parties during the summer so I only drank on weekends at parties.
Not a big solo drinker. Might have a wine or dos equis with my dinner some nights but that's about it so my normal routine just did wonders for me body.
Started crypto and built up a nice portfolio that's still alive amidst the bear market. Started online dating when I never did before and realized how easy it actually is lol.
Got closer with some friends that I hadn't seen in awhile. Honestly 2020 was great for me. It was jarring coming back when bars opened up because you saw how many people really only were held back by time based opportunities and who were just making excuses.
Anyone who was serious used the time they'd been waiting for to do things they've intended to for months. People who weren't serious used the Trump Checks to drink, get fat, and more or less go on vacation.
a lot of people easily put on 20-40 lb fast af and used being "stuck at home" as an excuse. When me and a few of my friends all got in better shape and built shit up we'd been meaning to anyways lol
Greetings for your great accomplishment, you did a good job for your health and your body!
With pandemic I entered in a state of depression, I gained weight, lost faith in life and the will to make anything. Plus, I’ve been since I was a child an introvert and had difficult at express my feelings and opinions to others, especially on romantic side my experience has stopped at 17 years old when I got my first great delusion, and with pandemic and isolation I ended to create a thicker shell around me. In my life existed only work, home and I was a lot alone. This state of things was permanent until last year, when I decided to drastically change.
At now I lost 12 kgs (26 lbs), I managed to eat well, exercise regularly. I renewed my wardrobe, bought new clothes, tried to care more about hygiene and my appearance. I also managed to have a sentimental life by joining a dating app and going out a pair of times (with zero results, but this is another history 😂). I also managed to achieve a better contract at work with a better pay and a bit less hours working. I recovered friendship with my friends, now I see them every weekend and manage to go on trips every month. I also managed to arrange a home for myself (I live with my mother due to economical reasons), in September I will transfer to my new accommodation.
Well that is impressive and congratulations. Mainly stuff that I can't get into lol
I can tell you I have really woken the hell up to a lot of stuff. I thought I was kind of woke up before on a lot of things. But it was not until really COVID hit that I realized how serious the situation really is.
I fixed all the stuff on my house that I have been too busy to fix before. I replaced all the trim with PVC, replaced two decks, built front steps, put in a new sump and submersible pump, I also rented a stump grinder and got rid of a bunch of tree stumps.
Congratulations!
I know that was a big change for you but you did well.
You look great.
As for me, I had an "essential job" and never lost work. I've never used sick days until I got COVID so I was isolated in my house for 10 days. Then when I caved and got the vaccine because I couldn't support my family without a job I got sick again for a week.
Otherwise, no change.
1. Got a new job after being laid off
2. Got massive zit and a few acne scars from wearing the mask, which I have now had mastered away
3. got to take a “mental break” from work
Mastered = lasered! I got a laser treatment
Ended up adjusting to loneliness and preparing for life after college where I will be bound to be lonely and unable to have fun, make friends, nor find attractive women nor fun people to chat with. It's a depressing reality but one I have to prepare for not only as a man who won't be able to be rich, but also, as a computer science major.
Stopped doing drugs, I feel like that was after the pandemic tho
Thanks 🙂
Your weight must've been transferred to me.
I got laid off too for the same amount of time.
Then did job hunting... and eating...
And found another desk job - now WFH, so my only exercise, commuting, was gone.
i just got a new job as a homeland security executive's briefing assistant and i'm moving to Philadelphia in a month
I bought a house and started working on some remodeling projects. I also lost 30lbs.
Moved away from all the paranoid covid people to a place where no one really cared about it. Thank you Jesus🙂🙏
I think I’ve become less superficial and more gracious during the pandemic and also more conservative in lifestyle (not in politics).
You look fucking beautiful and amazing!! 😍😍😍😍🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
Just being honest ❤️❤️❤️
We kinda quarantined for maybe 2 months, other than that nothing.

The pandemic has gotten me locked up in the "prison" of my own house. It has turned me anti-social media and online school.
My social skills have dropped by far.
Well done. I too lost a lot of weight and changed career
The pandemic Happening was one of the best things that could of happened to me.
Well, I gained weight, but I started writing stories like a maniac.
Never made any such noticeable change.
