Is this bad? Am I sleeping too much.
Note I usually sleep 5-6 hours at night. 1230 to 630.
In any case taking a nap of about 2 hours every day is not bad at all, on the contrary.
For a young guy this is still not common, safe if you're living in a country as Spain or Greece where people have the custom to take a nap because of the exceeding heat around that time of the day.
Still, what you're describing is exactly what I do very often, but then I'm 68. I don't sleep many hours at night, and after having eaten around 14h I need often a nap of about 2 hours.
I recommend you to sleep before 12.30 at night. It's not good to go to bed late. Taking a nap during the day isn't a bad thing. If I am at home, I will definitely sleep during the day. But when I'm at work, I can't sleep during the day. because it is impossible to sleep at work. I go to bed earlier at night. Sleeping during the day is not a bad thing. But you should not sleep more than 2 hours. otherwise one feels weird.

No it's not. 5 - 6 hours of sleep is pretty low even for an adult so i'm not surprised you're tired during the day.

usually no... but if you wake up feeling wonky from those long naps, and then you have trouble falling asleep at nights, then it might not be so beneficial and maybe you would want to cut down the time to an hour or so, or to 90 minutes

I think it’s better if you sleep for eight hours and stick to a full day and night schedule and then you’ll get tired at a certain time then you’ll get up energized you’ll get used to it

Yeah for the last 3 years. Started sleeping from 1030-630 with an afternoon hr nap then it slowly change to 1230-7 with a 2hr average nap.
A mid-afternoon map is actually good for you. That's why some countries have siestas.
Nope it's not... But more than 8-9 hours could be a sign of weakness in the body due to any deficiency which causes the body to stay tired.
It would probably be better for you if you slept the 8 hours app at once but I can’t imagine this is a big issue at all
