Humans are about 60% water, so really only about 40% of me is swimming.
But I love it because it's cool and refreshing like you said. It's also just so... I don't know, it feels like where I am supposed to be, like home. Water is just so nice. It's also super fun to jump into water. It's where I learned to dive headfirst, and overcame that fear. I also learned to backflip starting with doing it into water. Water is just lit.

My neighbor had a pool that the neighborhood kids swam in, so I learned to swim at an early age. Later, I had other friends with pools. When I was older, I started body surfing and belly boarding. I learned how to surf when I was around 14 year old.
I love swimming, mainly because the water feels so refreshing. And it's freeing - a little but like flying in three dimensional space.
Yes I love swimming. Not exactly swimming because I can barely swim and get exhausted really quick. I don't know how to breathe while swimming so that's the problem. However I love staying in water. It feels like someone is hugging you from all sides. Water is my favorite component of nature and I love everything about it.
Do you know that feeling you get after you get out of the water, where it feels like you're still swimming? I like swimming just to get that feeling. I also wanted to know how far I can swim. I know how far the waters are and how small our plant is, but it doesn't look like it when water is everything you can see.

Um, yeah? I love swimming. The feeling I get, like a fish swimming through the water is so therapeutic. I love challenges where I hold my breath and swim to get as many rings as possible. I love breaking the surface triumphantly or just with another stroke to see my hand come out the water. I love swimming along the pool floor, or being bounced around by a wave at a beach. I love the thrill of floating. I love diving. I like swimming to the bottom of the pool and watching the surface water ripple. I love everything about swimming.
The fun of swimming around in the Sun, floating around on the water, playing Secret Underwater I T if there's enough people to play it and you don't have people that are gonna screw it all up by cheating, trying to do certain tricks in the water. And then there's always skinny dipping late at night.
I do, but it's actually been way too long since I have been swimming! I need to change that. Although, I prefer swimming in a natural body of water like a lake, pond, river, creek, below a waterfall, in the ocean, etc. over swimming in a pool. For me personally, I feel it's a better swim and the surrounding scenery can be quite beautiful.
To be honest I do like swimming. But in public I get kind of uncomfortable. Everyone is half naked and many people can't respect personal boundaries (especially not children) or it is crowded and it really takes the fun out of it.
I love going when there isn't many people.I love swimming because water relaxes me and makes me feel protected, maybe because the water reminds me of being in my mothers womb when my body was coated in liquid for 9 months but I have a new problem which is that water makes my period come early so I might not be able to swim in the future.
I like swimming. It's a full body workout, and I sleep better when I do it! Generally I prefer the ocean to pools, though. Most times chlorine leaves me feeling dried out and kinda sick.
Yes, but I've never been able to swim very far. Even when I was in shape where running a 10K wasn't too difficult, I've never been able to swim more than about 3 up-and-backs in a standard-size pool without having to take a break. Not sure why, as I can tread water for half an hour easily.
During a hot summer day I love chillaxing by a refreshing pool & when I swim in the ocean it’s like I’m one with the world. I’m going to beach it up tomorrow.
I also like the refreshment and the fact that I´m tired afterwards which leads me to sleeping pretty well in the following night.
Especially when possible, in the nude.
The full body tactile skin contact of the passage of the water's currents!
I can imagine the mastery of an Otter as it navigates a winding river's ebb and eddies!I haven’t gone swimming in years… but I used to love it for the sake that it was so refreshing and also a fun way to exercise.
Swimming is a way to keep the body in good health while not damaging the joints. Swimming is also entertaining, refreshing, just plain fun, healthy gymnastics, and, last but not least, I like swimming ;0)
I have a pool at home and a hot tub. I honestly prefer hot tubs over pools, like when we go on holidays that’s what I go in. Not the pool. Pools are cold and not that fun. I do like the beach though.
Yes, I used to swim in my younger years, but that all ended in my high-school years. But, I loved it!
there are many reasons I like swimming, not in order
1/ exercising more of my body,
2/ sea swimming means I get sun on my body
3/ lovely when I stop swimming and float,I love swimming because it helps me keep my body fit and make me feel energetic whole day.
i am swimming since i was 5 years, as a result of it i got a silver medal in state level competition..Was going to join the women's swimming but they suddenly put a stop to that. I think I will still swim. I will just have to buy me a little mermaid bathing suit.
Sorry just could not resist.I was trained how to be a lifeguard 3 times... When I was little... Jr. Lifeguard... Then I became a real lifeguard and later being trained as a BSA lifeguard.
I've always highly enjoyed swimming! The most fun part is going to the deep end and swimming under the surface of the water with googles to see the opposite end of the pool :-D
Swimming provides a great low impact all around full body workout. It's both relaxing and strenuous at the same time.
